Yonggary, retitled Reptilian for its American release, is a 1999/2000 South Korean Kaiju movie by Shim Hyung-rae. It is a remake of the 1967 film Yongary.

An archaeological expedition led by Dr. Campbell and Dr. Hughes discover a fossilized diamond, mummified alien corpses, and hieroglyphs, separating the two men and killing off the rest of the expedition party. Two years later, Campbell digs up the fossils of the titular kaiju, Yonggary, a giant dinosaur 50 times the size of a T. rex. Hughes tries (and fails) to warn Campbell that digging up Yonggary will destroy the world, but Campbell doesn't listen and an invading alien species revives Yonggary to, you guessed it, Take Over the World. It all falls to Campbell, Hughes, Campbell′s assistant, Holly, Bud Black and the US military to save Los Angeles (and the entire world).

Like the director′s later D-War, the movie relies on lots and lots of CGI effects instead of People in Rubber Suits. It was hyped to succed where Roland Emmerich failed.

A 2000 "upgraded" version called 2001 Yonggary or in the United States, Reptilian was produced following the failure of the original version.

anything in one hit.
