  • How can humans tell the difference between mutants and non-mutant superhumans? Every time the whole prejudice issue comes up, everyone tries to discuss why humans only hate mutants...but NOBODY has ever answered how are humans able to tell who's a mutant and who's a metahuman/mutate/enhanced individual. For some characters, like Captain America or Thor, it makes sense, since their origins are a matter of public record...but what about all the characters whose origins are unknown to most people? How come they are never mistaken for mutants? And how come every time a mutant character is introduced, people somehow are able to tell that he/she is a mutant and not a "mutate"?
