It was foretold that you would be here. Our long awaited meeting has come at last.
—Darth Vader to Ahsoka Tano

So, TV Tropes, We Meet At Last.
A standard phrase when the hero has encountered a villain whom they've never met before, but one of them has been looking forward to their meeting.
Either the villain or hero has been tracking the other in hoping to confront and eliminate the other as a threat to their plans. At times, one continuously eludes the other through luck or skill. When their quarry is finally tracked down and cornered, it is ever more satisfying when they get to meet after all the effort.
See also We Meet Again for when the characters have met before or We Will Meet Again, which is used as goodbyes rather than as hellos. Compare Evil Gloating, Affably Evil.
