Ultraman Orb is a 2016 tokusatsu series produced by Tsuburaya Productions. It serves as the 50th anniversary entry in the long-running Ultra Series. It was preceded by Ultraman X and is the first series since Ultra Galaxy Mega Monster Battle: Never Ending Odyssey not to be a part of Ultraman Retsuden. It's also the first show since Ultraman Mebius to air on Saturdays. The series would be later succeeded by Ultraman Geed.

Tropes used in Ultraman Orb include:
  • Bittersweet Ending: Magata-no-Orochi is defeated, Gai parted ways with Naomi and company as he continues his adventures around the world. And, Juggler isn't quite dead yet, as he returns in The Movie.
  • Book Ends:
    • Gai's adventures on Earth begins and ends with him playing his Orbnica.
    • The series' first and final battles has Orb transforming into the very first fusion form: Spacium Zepellion.
  • But Now I Must Go: Gai leaves the SSSP after defeating Magata-no-Orochi.
