  • Crowning Music of Awesome: Frequently accompanies the car chase. Where they get their music budget is anyone's guess, but every single episode used classic rock favourites. The Pilot Episode had the pivotal car chase accompanied by "Thunderstruck" by ACDC. Yeah, it's that kind of show.
    • The first episode also features I Fought the Law (Music:The Clash version, even though the Bobby Fuller Four version would have fit the Texas setting).
    • As of the November 5 2010 episode, Dan's phone now has "Slow Ride" by Foghat as a Crowning Ringtone of Awesome.

    • Liz doing the same only in a lacy nightgown in "The Getaway", however, is not.
  • Genius Bonus: In Dan On The Run, Dan's police sketch looks exactly like the Unabomber's
  • Hey, It's That Guy!: THAT'S Josh Lyman?
  • Most Wonderful Sound: The gunshot sound used for the important scene changes. May or may not come with actual gunshots in the scene.
  • So Bad It's Good: "Savage & Stark".
  • Take That: Ep. 1-20, "Partners" there's an ambiguous one, which is why it's here and not on the main page

George: I'm the kind of guy you want to have a beer with.

Jack: I had a beer with you, George. It wasn't that great.

    • They also mocked a certain CBS show in episode 3.

Dan: It's called the Broken Door theory. I saw it on that cop show starring that leprechaun who never takes off his glasses.
