Tropedia

  • Before making a single edit, Tropedia EXPECTS our site policy and manual of style to be followed. Failure to do so may result in deletion of contributions and blocks of users who refuse to learn to do so. Our policies can be reviewed here.
  • All images MUST now have proper attribution, those who neglect to assign at least the "fair use" licensing to an image may have it deleted. All new pages should use the preloadable templates feature on the edit page to add the appropriate basic page markup. Pages that don't do this will be subject to deletion, with or without explanation.
  • All new trope pages will be made with the "Trope Workshop" found on the "Troper Tools" menu and worked on until they have at least three examples. The Trope workshop specific templates can then be removed and it will be regarded as a regular trope page after being moved to the Main namespace. THIS SHOULD BE WORKING NOW, REPORT ANY ISSUES TO Janna2000, SelfCloak or RRabbit42. DON'T MAKE PAGES MANUALLY UNLESS A TEMPLATE IS BROKEN, AND REPORT IT THAT IS THE CASE. PAGES WILL BE DELETED OTHERWISE IF THEY ARE MISSING BASIC MARKUP.

A web show that started in 2003 in an mp3 radio show format, and has since evolved into a (usually) weekly show on ustream. Found here Saturday nights.

The show itself is run by Two Grpyhon, a gay furry with an... odd sense of humor. His sidekicks change from time to time, his current and longest running being Jibba Foxcanubazela.

The subject matter is only infrequently about the Furry Fandom, the show's focus is more on news commentary and the extremely popular Gore News, which details the Darwin awards-esque ways people have died or been injured; The presentation is much funnier then it sounds. After the intermission, the remainder of the show is dedicated to reading and answering letters, while this section isn't funny per se the advice he gives is very helpful to the long-time listeners.

2 himself has stated he wants to put the best face of the Furry Fandom forward he can, and he urges his fans to do the same

Tropes used in The 2 Sense Show include:
  • Camp Gay The hosts are known to randomly affect very gay lisps
  • Dead Baby Comedy The fans well know the "Mc Baby" and "Three-Cheese Baby" Routines
  • Do Not Call Me Paul Subverted, 2 will respond to either 2 or Matthew
    • Though he has noted that everyone (even his mom) calls him 2 most of the time
  • Everything's Worse with Bears "...and then you get mauled by a fucking polar bear, then you die." -Episode 2
  • Furry Fandom It's run by two (or more) furries, what do you expect?
  • Gallows Humor 2's sense of humor seems to lean this way heavily
  • Refuge in Audacity The hosts will occasionally start up on some very squick-y tangents, but they always make it work.
  • Running Gag A few examples include "BEES!", "poking the pengi", and Spazfox slapping his retard.
  • Invisible to Gaydar The hosts themselves
