When you have a bucket of tropes to comb through, it helps to merge them into a single coherent strand (no, not like spaghetti, dammit!). Luckily for you, the wiki gnome is not a stooge. He has come down from his tree to count and pigeonhole each of our vast selection of sorting tropes. It wasn't quick or smooth, but he's a shell of his former self, but with patience, he has created a library of sorting algorithms.

Grab a cocktail and enjoy a heap of tropes.


Not to burst your bubble, but scales, sliding or otherwise, are another form of sorting -- hence their insertion into this index.
