* Subverted: There are four seasons in an adaptation of the Avengers Show. The villain in the first season only wants power to himself. The second season uses his men as disposable pawns and disposes them when they are done. The third villain uses cunning and trickery to get what he wants, and treats his men as friends rather than pawns. The fourth and final villain is a human who has two laser cannons named Mipple and Mepple plans to gather a Legion of Doom consisting of the three previous villains that have failed in their conquest to destroy the Avengers. The villains in the three seasons mock and belittle the fourth and final villain as their names are very girly and then proceed to overthrow him.

*Double Subverted: The villain in the fourth season uses his laser cannons to curb stomp the other three villains, causing the other three villains to realize their folly.  The villain in the third season realizes how he is similar to this villain - that Mepple and Mipple are part of something big and that it involves friendship with his group.  The other two villains ask the villain in the 3rd season where he got his Fridge Brillance, to which the villain in the 4th season tells the other two villains that the Avengers used it once when they were trapped in disks and that kids had to smash them.  Eventually, the four villains come to a conclusion that they need to work together to defeat the Avengers, developing a Villainous Friendship in the process in their Legion of Doom.
