Before making a single edit, Tropedia EXPECTS our site policy and manual of style to be followed. Failure to do so may result in deletion of contributions and blocks of users who refuse to learn to do so. Our policies can be reviewed here.
All images MUST now have proper attribution, those who neglect to assign at least the "fair use" licensing to an image may have it deleted. All new pages should use the preloadable templates feature on the edit page to add the appropriate basic page markup. Pages that don't do this will be subject to deletion, with or without explanation.
All new trope pages will be made with the "Trope Workshop" found on the "Troper Tools" menu and worked on until they have at least three examples. The Trope workshop specific templates can then be removed and it will be regarded as a regular trope page after being moved to the Main namespace. THIS SHOULD BE WORKING NOW, REPORT ANY ISSUES TO Janna2000, SelfCloak or RRabbit42. DON'T MAKE PAGES MANUALLY UNLESS A TEMPLATE IS BROKEN, AND REPORT IT THAT IS THE CASE. PAGES WILL BE DELETED OTHERWISE IF THEY ARE MISSING BASIC MARKUP.
Complete Monster: Yoshio only appears for two episodes, but it doesn't take long for him to achieve Complete Monsterdom when he drugs Sun into a trance and tries to marry her against her will (while planning to do a little bit of This and Thatsoon afterwards.)
Fan Disservice: Sun becoming a man for her role as a lover for Lunar, it's ridiculously manly.
High Octane Nightmare Fuel: The second half of the 2nd OVA, which does a Genre Shift from comedy/action to straight horror, borrowing elements from The Ring. Saturn will probably haunt your nightmares now.
Memetic Mutation: Jokes about Jotaro Kujo (and JoJo's Bizarre Adventure in general) has exploded in the 21st Episode after a fantasy scene of Nagasumi looking like a hot banchou.
Moe Moe: In one episode, Lunar-papa, Gozaburo, and Masa (ordered to) crossdress as schoolgirls and catgirls and act out moe stereotypes in an attempt to understand a girl's heart. It really is that horrible. Ends with Sun suddenly receiving cat ears, which everyone agrees is incredibly moe (before being blasted away).
They Wasted a Perfectly Good Plot: Nagasumi's relationships with Mawari and Lunar. They both obviously have feelings for Nagasumi, yet all the development [1] between them was never spoken of ever again after a certain point, and they reverted to how they were before said development. Which is sad really, as that would've made the plot more interesting.
↑ Episodes 4,6, and 18 for Mawari, and 12 and 13 for Lunar; Lunar was also technically the first girl to confess her true feelings to Nagasumi as well.
