  • "Come Down Now". Probably the point in which the audience realizes that Youth is distancing himself from important things in his life, such as his family. Desi, of all people (since she is the founder of Nowhaus, the organization that states the only emotion that is real is love, and even then is not exactly expressed outwardly by its members often), confronts Youth, and tells him, basically, to knock it off as she's "been thinking about leaving my fingerprints on your being."
  • Youth and his mother's phone call. He implores her to answer the question "Is it alright?"; throughout the show, "Yeah, it's alright" has been sung that Youth's taking drugs in choir practice is fine, as is leaving his only family member to travel to Europe, as is staying with strangers in Amsterdam, and pretending to be someone he is not. His mother doesn't answer this, knowing that she is going to die before he arrives home and only replies with "I love you" before hanging up.
  • "Keys (Marianna)" and the ensuing crowd-pleasing "Key (It's Alright)" in which Stew never really fails in getting most of the audience out of their seats during. Like you had a choice or anything.
  • "And after so long feeling so alone/I feel like picking up the phone, and calling up that place called 'home'/To say I've found a brand new family/Where I can be that thing called 'me'/No more saying 'Uncle' to Uncle Sam/I'm telling L.A. just where I am/Color me Amsterdam! Amsterdam!"
