• The song "Who's a Silly Pony" from the UK story tape. Also Hilarious in Hindsight somewhat, considering Applejack's G4 incarnation...
• The pilot's "Dancing On Air" plays during Firefly's first meeting with Megan. While Firefly's singing about how Megan had to be the one to save the ponies from Tirac, Megan's really not buying it, at least until the end of the song. Her gentle but slightly mocking snarks just make it.

Firefly: They'll be floating, lighter than a cloud... Megan: They'll be gloating, laughing right out loud... Firefly: The sight of you will send spirits flying... Megan: One or two may burst out crying...

• • Megan and Applejack exchanging confused looks during "Call Upon the Sea Ponies".
• From A Very Minty Christmas, after Minty broke the Here-Comes-Christmas-Candycane, she tried to explain it to Pinkie but was too busy freaking out to say something more intelligible than (something like)

"asdlaskjdla broke....santa! D:" Leading to Pinkie saying, in an amusingly unfitting Deadpan Snarker tone... Pinkie: "You broke Santa?"

• Meta-example: Amazon.com has two different listings for the DVD My Little Pony: Twinkle Wish Adventure, one of which calls it Persistent Monkey Grip Sculpture of Yesteryear. And since many other websites' listings are based on Amazon's, those sites also have pages for PMGSoY!
  • Since "Persistent Monkey" has the same number of syllables as "My Little Pony," it can even be sung to MLP's Title Theme Tune. Persistent Monkey, Persistent Monkey...
