    • The DAAAAAAAAAAAARK HEAAAAAAAAAAART reference gets extremely ironic when Tox (the writer) purposefully confuses ERIC with HEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAART.

    • He even collects clothes.
  • Research has proven that Mall Fight is composed of at least 25% Homestuck.
  • Xot, Futox, Martin and Eric (mainly) were looking for 4 artifacts with different shapes each to resurrect Tox. Later on, those 4 artifacts changed form and turned into gems from a certain game.
  • The sun where the Prism of Infinity was located may or may not have been Solaris, the Tyrant Sun
  • Eric's Masamune and DAAAAAAAAAAAARK ERIC's Muramasa are directly from the legend of Masamune and Muramasa.
  • Hell is a large mix of multiple Hells in fiction, notably Hell from the Divine Comedy, Paradise Lost and the Nether.
  • Duff McWhalen was used for a mode of transportation in a flooded Mall, before he mysteriously disappeared and was never brought up again.
  • Diablo is a Avid Fighting Game Fan and this showed then he got Megas XLR to perform a Final Atomic Buster like Zangief from Street Fighter during the Giant Robot Fight in Mall Fight 4.
    • Also a fan of Law and Order as most of his posts in the Future stage of Mall Fight 4 were just clips of the show.
  • There's a reason Eric Draven is a fan of The Crow.
  • Waffles is a fan of Vocaloid, much to everyone's chagrin.
  • "Seriously, what ever happened to predictability, the milk man, the paper boy, evening TV?"
  • "What is the deal with jumping in the air and freezing in a static photo?"
  • "The Aristocrats!"
  • Knife never gets tired of referencing My Little Pony Friendship Is Magic.
    • Hell, Ran made an entire subplot that happened in the MLP:Fim universe!
  • The Mall Fighters compare themselves to the X-Men with Diablo as Deadpool.
  • The Respawn Matrix is composed of multiple computers, including ENIAC and WOPR.
  • There are two Daleks named Edward and Alphonse.
  • Heh, propane.
  • Monty Python in spades.
  • FPV's main weapon, WEAPON ICE FUCK, gets it's name from a failed doomsday device from a Dwarf Fortress let's play.
