  • Complete Monster: Setsuna. So much so he's the most villainous character in Last Blade 2. Moreso than Last Blade 1's Big Bad Kagami, or the game's own boss, Kouryu. Hell, his very first act in existence was monster-ish; he's a spirit from Hell that escaped when Kagami opened he gate in LB 1. As soon as he gets out, he posseses the body of a dead baby, and makes it his own.
  • Crowning Moment of Awesome: If you're of the Evil Is Cool mindset, Setsuna has a big one. While everyone else's endings in Last Blade 2 have them freeing Kouryu's spirit in some way, Setsuna forgoes that kind of a heartwarming conclusion and just kills him. And being the Complete Monster he is, he fist holds up Kouryu's battered body by his throat, calls him a pansy, then kills him in a way that can't be pretty since this is followed by the same shot as before, except Kouryu is no longer being held up by Setsuna, and Sesuna's raised hand is now covered in blood. Setsuna then laughs, looks badass, then roll credits.
  • Ensemble Darkhorse: Akari Ichijou has the most appearances outside her debut game.
  • Visual Effects of Awesome: The games are gorgeously animated.
