All images MUST now have proper attribution, those who neglect to assign at least the "fair use" licensing to an image may have it deleted. All new pages should use the preloadable templates feature on the edit page to add the appropriate basic page markup. Pages that don't do this will be subject to deletion, with or without explanation.
All new trope pages will be made with the "Trope Workshop" found on the "Troper Tools" menu and worked on until they have at least three examples. The Trope workshop specific templates can then be removed and it will be regarded as a regular trope page after being moved to the Main namespace. THIS SHOULD BE WORKING NOW, REPORT ANY ISSUES TO Janna2000, SelfCloak or RRabbit42. DON'T MAKE PAGES MANUALLY UNLESS A TEMPLATE IS BROKEN, AND REPORT IT THAT IS THE CASE. PAGES WILL BE DELETED OTHERWISE IF THEY ARE MISSING BASIC MARKUP.
And the Fandom Rejoiced (If the 2008 show has any chance to survive, an episode featuring KARR (with Peter Cullen returning as the voice) was hyped and brought in some new viewers.)
Complaining About Shows You Don't Watch: Some forum posters that heavily, heavily bash the new series admitted to just following the crowds. Other critics do watch the new show, and make very valid points.
Continuity Porn: Inversion: The lack of said continuity between the 1982 and 2008 series is a major source of fan disappointment.
It's may also be the reason Team Knight Rider didn't catch on with more of the KR fandom.
Some fans, however, enjoy speculation and Fan Fiction dealing with the above subjects.
Germans Love David Hasselhoff: The original is considered hilarious in Brazil, thanks in part to an extremely hammy dub. The Mexican Spanish dub advert this through, since the series is still popular in Mexico.
The Japanese-dubbed version is as hammier as the Brazilian dub (You can watch a clip of that dub in the movie Mr. Baseball)
Narm: In the episode with KARR, the "No! NO!" that KARR gave when Michael overrode KITT to play chicken with KARR, knowing the latter would veer out of the way due to self-preservative programming, sending it off a cliff and to a rather explosive demise.
Special Effect Failure: A lot of turbo boost shots very obviously ended badly for KITT's stunt double.
Another example of Fan Dumb? Pontiac discontinued the Trans Am General Motors eliminated the Pontiac line of cars, so no KR series could've used one anyway. And to bring back the 80's Trans Am, aside from nostalgia and continuity, would be Fridge Logic; a car of the past can't be the car of the future.
