• The Load: Moreso Tim; Lex does extremely dumb things, but she has her useful and smart moments too (in the film anyway). Both the film version of Tim and the book version of Lex can be forgiven as they are young kids.

• Precocious Crush: Lex has one on Dr. Grant.
• Tomboy: The book version of Lex is a huge baseball fan. The movie version of Lex is older and more nerdy but she still wears a baseball cap and seems pretty capable at things like climbing so she might count to a lesser degree.

• Genre Savvy / Crazy Prepared: Apparently Nedry was smart enough with his computer hacking skills to anticipate the possibility that his bosses would attempt to hack into his computer and created a defense on his computer where he'd have a portrait of himself saying "you didn't say the magic word" while wagging his finger, going by what happened when they did attempt to do so after he took the security system offline.

Dr. Sarah Harding (Julianne Moore)

• Action Girl/Badass Damsel: She can hold her own against a full-grown Velociraptor.
• Deadpan Snarker: She throws a few witty jabs at Ian and Nick.
• Everyone Has Their Standards: She wants to save the dinosaurs, but she rightly calls out Nick for taking the injured baby T-Rex back to the lab.
• Fiery Redhead: She spends most of the movie fighting everyone
• Hot Scientist: She is Julianne Moore after all.
• Jerkass: Downplayed. But still, it wasn't very nice to criticize Ian for being afraid of an island filled with dinosaurs. Considering that he was almost killed on Isla Nublar, he has every reason to be afraid of Isla Sorna.
• Ms. Fanservice: Ian is greatly attracted to her.
• Redheaded Heroine: Although she has traits of a Brainy Brunette, she is very much a Fiery Redhead.
• Significant Green-Eyed Redhead: She is this to Ian.

Nick Van Owen (Vince Vaughn)

• Badass
• Badass Pacifist
• The Casanova
• Chivalrous Pervert: The reason he joined a Mickey Mouse organization like "Green Peace", the women!
• Stupid Good: He's the guy who thought it'd be a good idea to bring a baby T-Rex back to base. Even Sarah hated the idea.
• The Extremist Was Right: Zig-zagged. He argues that the InGen is wrong to exploit the dinosaurs, but on the other hand, the dinosaurs are not natural-born animals in an unevolved environment—they are genetically cloned hybrids that InGen has legal ownership of, thus the company has the lawful right to take possession of them. But as the movie franchise shows, caging them is not going to end well for them or the people around them. It's one of those times where what may be morally right and legally right differ.

Peter Ludlow (Arliss Howard)

• Corrupt Corporate Executive: Subverted. He really doesn’t do anything illegal, and all in all the worst thing he does is be a jerk.

• Anti-Villain: Type IV, Rolands' not really an evil man at all, just a little misguided in certain areas.

• Only Sane Man: During the scene where he and the rest of the InGen hunting party are running from one of the T-Rexes and they come to a plain of long grass, and everyone runs into the long grass despite his protests to not do so.

Dieter Stark (Peter Stormare)

• Asshole Victim: Killed by a pack of Procompsognathus.
• Hate Sink: A sadistic peice of scum with no redeeming qualities whatsoever. Seeing him get mauled by the Procompsognathus pack is just so cathartic.

• Jerkass: Even Ludlow is nicer than him.
• The Rival: to Nick, although it's not explored any further after their initial confrontation.
• Token Evil Teammate: While Roland, Ayay and other InGen personnel are are honorable and brave Punch Clock Villains. Dieter on the other hand,.....

Indoraptor

• Ax-Crazy: Even by dinosaur standards.
• Disney Villain Death: How it makes its exit, courtesy of Blue.
• Expy: Of many creatures, such as Xenomorphs, Randall and Baby Zillas, just to name a few.
• Foil: To Blue. While Blue doesn't chase after her prey more than she realistically should, the Indoraptor just hunts For the Evulz. Blue doesn't want her prey to feel anything going out, while the Indoraptor likes to draw out the fear of its prey, as it does with Wheatley.
• Freudian Excuse: The reason behind its sadistic behavior may be that it was abused, and thus, sees all humans as threats.
• The Heavy: The main dinosaur antagonist.
• Hybrid Monster: Just like the Indominus Rex.
• Non-Malicious Monster: Averted. The Indoraptor hunts For the Evulz, unlike most dinosaurs which attack either for food or provocation.
• The Sociopath: Fits a great deal of the criteria.
• Would Hurt a Child: Willing to hunt Masie.

Elijah "Eli" Mills (Rafe Spall)

• Abusive Step-Parents: Towards Masie. Because if Benjamin Lockwood ever dies, whic he does, he should look after her.
• Asshole Victim: Sure, Lewis Dodgson, Peter Ludlow, Billy Brennan and Vic Hoskins were all selfish assholes, but Eli Mils is a murderer, so he had it coming.
• Big Bad: Of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom.
• Corrupt Corporate Executive: As far as willing to commit cold-blooded murder.
• Hate Sink: Where to begin? He's conniving, selfish and even kills Benjamin Lockwood via Vorpal Pillow, so he's the closet thing Jurassic Park ever will have to a Complete Monster.
• It's All About Me: He does not care about innocent bystanders.
• Just Desserts: Eaten by a Tyranosaurus Rex and a Carnotaurus.
