- In Jeanne D Arc, one of your allies is Gilles de Rais. In real life, he was a Complete Monster who brutally murdered and raped children, possibly in sacrifice to a demon. But in the game, he's a good guy through and through. What the hell? But when you consider that at the end of the game, he allows himself to be possessed by Big Bad Gilvaroth. Who's to say that he didn't end up as such a monster after the game ended? --Master Hand
- Jeanne D Arc has its protagonists seemingly earning their happy endings. Yes, there's been a horrific and largely pointless war, lots of English and French soldiers died, the Therions are still an oppressed people and we lost Lian. But Gilvaroth is safely sealed inside Gilles' body, fated to smother under his Heroic Resolve. OR IS HE? Gilles SEEMED like a Red Herring, since while the real man was a murderer/warlock/rapist, his fictional self is a solid teammate. However, we can assume that after the game Gilvaroth broke free and forced him to do all those horrible things he's remembered for. If this weren't depressing enough, doesn't that mean Gilvaroth could easily be alive and well after Gilles' death...?
