    • In "fan club", Strong Sad's fanfic has Strong Bad giving Homestar a deep-tissue massage. Strong Bad is horrified; Homestar? Not so much.

  • Homestar almost shows Strong Bad a skimpy negligee in 8-Bit Is Enough. It Makes Sense in Context.
    • Homestar's reaction to Strong Bad's 'final form' is a bit... surprising.
    • In the Decemberween 2010 Costume page, Homestar admits that Strong Bad's leg lamp costume makes him feel funny inside. Strong Bad is not amused.
    • In this cartoon where Strong Bad is making fun of Halloween costume, there is one of a girl dressed up as Homestar Runner, which leads to conflicting feelings on the subject. Then Homestar Runner pops up and starts calling him 'sweetie.'
    • A sketch drawn for the original book's 20th anniversary in 2016 features Strong Bad in a wedding dress and Homestar in a tuxedo, renewing their vows. Strong Bad is surprisingly okay with this as he uses the post to discuss human years in comparison to Lil' Brudder years.
  • "Pom Pom! And! Stwong Bad! Awe! Totally! Going! Out!"
  • An early sbemail has a fanboy sending Strong Bad a love letter.
  • Bubs and Coach Z, at least from the latter's side.
    • Coach Z spends a lot of time hanging around Bubs's concession stand.
    • During hremail3184, he has no compunction about "strip[ping] down to da nude" in front of Bubs while he waits to shower in Strong Bad's spit.
    • When Bubs and Marzipan go on a date, Coach Z is shown in curlers holding a rolling pin and acting like a jealous girlfriend. Though this could also hint at him wanting to date Marzipan, due to his creepy crush on her.
  • Coach Z has also been shown cozying up to Homestar or Strong Bad, and in "The Homestar Runner Goes For the Gold," he's quite pleased to see Strong Sad sprouting a pair of very shapely female legs.
    • An outtake from "In Search of the Yello Dello" has him and Homestar naked in the shower together. Um...
  • In the Halloween toon "I Killed Pom Pom!", Homestar refers to a deflated inflatable pumpkin he thinks is his bubbling bestie's corpse his "concubine." After which he admits he should probably look up what the word means.
    • Strong Bad also mentioned Homestar asking for the pumpkin's phone number, which he found odd.
  • "Three Times Halloween Funjob" implies Bubs grabbed Homestar's butt when the lights went out. Though it could have been an accident.
