An in-progress Fanfic Crossover of Code Geass and Elfen Lied written by LVDB. In it, Lucy is the one responsible for Marianne's death and Lelouch meets her years later with no memory of the event. As a result, Lelouch is still part of the Britannian royal family. Cue Machiavellian scheming and some unusual dynamics between the two main characters. [1]

• Accidental Pervert: Lelouch remarks on one occasion about how often he finds himself in situations like this.
• Affably Evil: Arguably Lelouch, depending on where your Alternate Character Interpretation falls.
• And Your Little Dog, Too: I'm afraid so.
• Berserk Button: Lucy is very, very protective of Lelouch.
• Big Screwed-Up Family: The Britannian royal family, largely because of eugenics.

Lelouch: "Why didn't I get the seat with the cupholder?" Kallen: "Dunno... Must have something to do with being a genocidal dictator. Or something."

• • And in chapter 15, when Lelouch went gardening... with landmines. Hilarity Ensues.
  • Schneizel's reaction to Lucy killing all of the Knights of the Round probably counts.

Schneizel: "Well...fuck."

• Deadpan Snarker: Lelouch
• Death Glare: Lucy
• Dropped a Bridge on Him: Dear Collective Unconscious, like you wouldn't believe. Even Arthur wasn't spared, biting it at the Saitama incident. Villetta wasn't really bad per say, but complications arose from the botched assassination, which led to Sayoko and Jeremiah biting the bullet, literally in the former's case. Then, Rivalz gets killed in a subway bombing. Note that all the above happened within two chapters. Earlier in the story The Four Holy Swords were mentioned as having been killed off, and Todoh captured. He ended up dead a few chapters later, as mentioned by Lucy. Then, It Got Worse: Lucy had Ohgi killed on a suicide mission, Diethard was briefly mentioned as having been killed by an OSI agent, possibly Rolo; the latter ended up torn apart by Nana. Clovis and Lloyd both meet their ends at Lelouch's hand at around that time, thanks to geass. Then, in what could only be described as a wham chapter (especially for this story), Odysseus, Guinevere, Carline, and Euphie get knocked off at once, at the SAZ ceremony. Guilford gets killed soon after, and the canon Black Knights from season 1 (including Tamaki, Inoue, and the others from Shinjuku) are purged by Lucy/Zero. It seems as if all the canon Code Geass characters are being targeted for major bridge droppings, and are going out way too fast. Of course, considering the other source material, this might just be tame... Oddly enough, out of the characters who were killed off canonically, Mao has been geassed into serving Lelouch and survived thus far, and Shirley and Kallen have been hinted to have survived for many years afterwards, having written books on the story's time period.
  • Spoke to soon: Lulu uses Mao as a suicide soldier/decoy, Milly's dad bites it during a revolt in Pendragon, Cornelia dies in the attack that killed Mao, and while several other named characters die left-and-right (including pretty much all the Rounds thanks to Lucy), Lelouch and Suzaku get beaten by Nunnally of all people, ending the story. Of course, they're not all safe, as the epilogue proves: Kallen gets killed via a lucky shot by some faceless Mook who bites it 10 seconds later. But hey, at least Orenji turns out to have survived! A final list of who survived and who died, as well as how, has been added. Thankfully, Nana was spared in this case:

Nana: MAYBE killed by Jeremiah, Chapter 23. I prefer to think that her freaky recuperative abilities got her out of it, since she was far from the blast radius, and… Actually, you know what? Yes. Nana survived. Somehow—I don't care how—she survived the blast, received Rakshata's antidote courtesy of Lelouch's Imperial Decree #1, and was adopted by a nurturing family that loved her. Screw cynicism.

• Evilutionary Biologist: The Kamakura researchers
• Flash Back: Several of these
• Gambit Pileup: Unless he's careful, Lelouch might end up doing this to himself.
  • And in the end, a good portion of the Xanatos Schemes that piled up there were Nunnally's.
• Grey and Gray Morality: Things get REALLY questionable when you have Lelouch and Lucy on the same side.
• Heroic Sacrifice: Lelouch wants to avoid this if possible.
• Humongous Mecha: Lelouch is clearly trying to get a six-armed knightmare frame designed for Lucy.
• Incest Is Relative: The main reason for the Royal Family's problems.
• I Know You Know I Know: Lelouch's conversation with Clovis is a rather egregious example.
• In the Blood: Deliberately made that way, and Euphie's the only person who doesn't follow.
• Karma Houdini: Kallen seems to consider Lelouch this, and even refers to him as "Prince Houdini". See the quote under Prince Charmless.
• Kick the Dog: Lucy. And how.
  • Moral Event Horizon: That "And How" pretty much sums Lucy up with the classic phrase: Rape The Dog. Especially the alternate SAZ incident.
    • This troper would like to think that she came back from that horizon after the antidote.
• Kill'Em All: It definitely seems to be going this way. Check the Dropped a Bridge on Him entry, above.
  • Lampshaded by C.C. in Chapter 22:

At the rate you're going, you'll be the only person left in a couple months, she [C.C.] said.

• Large Ham: Lelouch more or less admits that he is one.
• Magical Girlfriend: In a creepy, assassin-for-hire sort of way.
• Manipulative Bastard: Lelouch with Lucy. Arguably in both senses of the term, considering Charles' marriage practices.
• Narm, though intentionally invoked:

"I'd love to stay and chat, but I've got a democracy to squelch and an empire to win. Until next time, Kallen. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!"

• Non-Action Guy: Lelouch
• Prince Charmless: Kallen finds Lelouch rather obnoxious.
  • Summed up with:

I told her a more-or-less unedited version of my life for the past few months. Her jaw dropped lower each time, and she called me by turns (and I quote) "the biggest liar I've ever met"? and "Prince Houdini". She also worried what I'd do after they acquitted me.

• Psycho for Hire: Lucy for Lelouch.
• Raised by Wolves: Both Lelouch and Lucy have some elements of this. Lelouch had to survive Britannian family politics and support his little sister, while Lucy...well...
• The Empire: Britannia, obviously. Since imperialism didn't die out in the early 20th century, this also describes virtually every state in the world.
• Shout-Out: Euphie's e-mail address is apparently "Euphinator96", in reference to the season finale of R1. Lelouch, likewise, goes by "LordByron111". The show actually contains many references to season 1 of Code Geass, including Mao asking if Lelouch did something stupid like "make a pre-recorded tape", and so forth. Lelouch refers to them as "What Ifs".
• Split Personality Takeover: Averted for now. Lucy is always in her lucid state.
  • Not always the really violent side of her was out a lot, but was later suppressed.
• Tenchi Solution: Brought up in the end and is shown to be a not very happy thing.
• The Mutiny: Lelouch isn't always successful at keeping the Black Knights under control.
• The Revolution Will Not Be Civilized: Lelouch's insurgency crosses the Moral Event Horizon pretty early.
• Took a Level In Badass: In the original, Nunnally was just a Morality Pet that became empress by the end of season 2. Here, she comes out on top over Lelouch and Schneizel, and even defeats both Suzaku and Lelouch when they both try to rebel against her decision against Zero Requiem.
  • The author's notes point out that, due to not losing her sight or legs, Lelouch didn't "treat her like porcelain", and was more able to joke around with her, even giving her the ascended-Fan Nickname "Nunners". It's also stated that he deeply respected her abilities.
• Trauma-Induced Amnesia: Lelouch
  • As well, he actually loses his sight via Trauma-induced psychosomatic blindness, which apparently runs in the family.
• Xanatos Speed Chess: Lelouch claims that he's playing this, rather than acting as a Chessmaster.
