- Lord Cutler Beckett: (Superego: Superiority) Regal, gentlemanly but cold and scheming to destroy all piracy. A clever bargainer who would manipulate people, for a chance to end legendary pirates.
- Davy Jones: (Id: Spite) Has a bitter past, that is the source of his rage and callousness regarding death. Easily the most emotional of the three, very protective of the few things he held dear.
- George (Superego): stable, moral, and unimaginative
- Mike (Id): impulsive, sensitive, and romantic
- Dexter (Superego): more laid-back that the former but more mature than the latter
