They are born from a family who holds a very high position in Gehenna. The Role they posses is related to prosecution and interrogation which helps in being a member of a guild of lawyers and appointers. Due to this Role, they have a delicate but keen sensitivity on the gap between reality and 'how one should be'. This attribute extends to their gender of mind and body but they get along nobles who cause political strife like a poison. Their Sacred Artifact is a golden snake that is said to be able to see the past and future. It can inject poison into people that will have their memories from their lives to be exposed and prosecuted.

  • Ambiguous Gender: Despite their issues, both Astaroth and Astarte defines themselves by their birth gender, though their profile is written in gender-neutral way.
  • Birds of a Feather: The protagonist reminds Astarte that something inside them is similar to herself. This is later revealed to be due to that, had Canaan not destroyed, she would've serve the same role of the Exile as them.
  • Character Development: Both go from individuals that hate themselves and want to have the power of/be someone else, to being able to see their own strength and, despite still longing for what they want, are able to love themselves for being who they're a bit by bit.
  • Hair of Gold, Heart of Gold: Astarte has long golden hair, and while rough she's also a straight-forward, trustworthy, and loyal.
  • Horned Humanoid: Both Astaroth and Asttarte have large white pair of horns on their heads.
  • Muscle Angst: Inverted version. Despite his slender appearance, Astaroth mentions in story that he's doing his best to hide the fact that his body will get even bigger and more powerful in order to accommodate his increasing strength, which he dislikes as he wants to remain slender and beautiful. Post Canaan event, however, shows that despite still not liking it, he learns to appreciate the gift he has and promises to use it to help and protect the protagonist should the time comes.
  • Impossible Hourglass Figure: Astarte has normal bust and hip but very thin waist, something made more noticeable with her wearing Astaroth's uniform.

  • So Beautiful It's a Curse: Astarte doesn't take it very well that all people ever think of her is that she's beautiful and nothing else.

There is a calming yet decadent air around him while also not belong to any of the 23 worlds connected to Tokyo but has the same name of an ancestor from one of them. Dagon's Sacred Artifact is a pillar that contains the memories of a great calamity that covered the world but it is actually the remains of a palace that sank to the bottom of the sea after the calamity. Its power can wash anything into an abyss except Dagon but he would pay the price of losing his family.

  • Barely-There Swimwear: His swimsuit's coverage is roughly the same as Tangaroa's Thong of Shielding.
  • Foil:
    • To his counterpart Triton. While Triton wants to teach and support the person he cares about for them to rise to their highest potential, Dagon instead wants himself and his beloved to embrace pleasure and depravity, sinking together into the bottom-most depth.
    • He's another one to Tangaroa, compared to the latter forgoing his own desire for the sake of others in order to love and protect them. This becomes increasingly ironic with Invaders! Tangaroa, who shares a lot of motif with Dagon, including octopus tentacles.
  • G-Rated Sex: A more explicit one, in which the text clearly describes what's the Dagons intend to do with the protagonist in his Valentine event, including baking fresh bread for the protagonist in the morning after.

Her sworn nemesis is a certain doujin artist of the Akihabara Guild who she called Geek Loser and Wannabe Non-conformist. Benten's Sacred Artifact is a biwa with the Rule of Fluidity that can change the flow of all things that range from liquids to abstract concepts.

  • Composite Character: The Seize the Summer! AR card heavily implies that in Housamo-verse, Benten was originally Sarasvati from Deva Loka.
  • Lethal Chef: As Ebisu sadly reveals, Benten's cooking skill is absolutely atrocious. Guess that "cooking art" is not part of her repertoire.
  • Pink Girl, Blue Boy: Inverted, she is the blue girl to Ebisu's pink boy.
  • Religious and Mythological Theme Naming: She shares the same name of the goddess alternatively named Benzaiten. She is the patron goddess of artists, writers, dancers, etc who is often depicted carrying a biwa.

In emergencies, she become dancer capable of fighting on the front lines with fish-type companion robots. Otohime's Sacred Artifact is the Dragon Palace that can draw out negative memories that causes pain from those who's hearts were stolen by her dance.

  • Adaptational Heroism: While the original Otohime from Urashima Taro is more of a neutral character, with her not informing Taro about the time discrepancy between the surface world and the Dragon Palace which resulting in him returning to the world 300 years later being the most controversial part of her, this Otohime strives to bring happiness and joy to the visitors of the Dragon Palace and removes their pain and suffering from them. She also allows the visitor to leave the box containing such memories behind in the palace instead of having the visitors bringing them back with them, so they do not have to suffer the same fate as Taro.
  • Amicable Exes: Although the game doesn't spell it out entirely, it's pretty clear from their mythological counterparts that she and Yamasachihiko were together as lovers for many years before he decided to left her to search for his brother's fish hook once again, with her never holds a grudge against him.
  • Animal Motifs:
    • Shark. She is surrounded by several of shark robots serving as her offensive unit in her 4* form. This could possibly be a call back to Toyotama-hime, whose true form is shark (or wani, a Japanese sea dragon) in some of the legends. In addition, her overall attire outfit also is based on goldfish.
