The Prisoners[]

In General[]

  • Face of an Angel, Mind of a Devil: All of them are very attractive in terms of physical appearance. However, its hard to considered any them good people. The most innocent person among them is a greedy Gold Digger.
  • The Fake Cutie: All of them certainly have the attractive looks of a genuine article, however their personalities that range from being insane sociopath/psychopath to just being unethical.
  • Ms. Fanservice: Being the main female cast in a Girls Behind Bars Hentai manga.
  • Never My Fault: With the exception of Hoozuki Miyoko, all of them truly believe that didn't anything wrong that lead them to their current predicament. Kurumi is a sociopath who seems incapable of comprehending of what she did was wrong. Due to her mental illness, Ibu honestly believes she was sentence to prison for false charges. Minto doesn't believe her cyber-bulling warrants a prison sentence. While Nana and Yui are quick to point the blame at each other for their misfortune.
  • Rotating Protagonist: Although Hoozuki Miyoko is the overarching Villain Protagonist of the story, the manga does switch between the point-of-view of the 7 main female characters in each chapter. The focal character of each chapter follows as such: Chapter 1: Shumiya Kurumi, Chapter 2: Hoozuki Miyoko, Chapter 3: Yamakoshi Ibu, Chapter 4: Kinugasa Minto, Chapter 5: Soyogi Nana, Chapter 6: Ootoru Yui, Chapter 7: Kitou Masami, and Chapter 8: Hoozuki Miyoko (again).
  • Seven Deadly Sins: Along with the prison's warden, who becomes a prisoner anyways, each of the 7 main inmates represents a sin respectively, Hoozuki Miyoko (Lust), Hoozuki Miyoko (Pride), Yamakoshi Ibu (Wrath), Kinugasa Minto (Gluttony), Soyogi Nana (Greed), Ootoru Yui (Envy), and Kitou Masami (Sloth).

Hoozuki Miyoko[]

Hoozuki Miyoko

Inmate Number 1919083. The Villain Protagonist of the story. Miyoko is introduced as a 38 year-old thief and con artist who spent most of her adult life being sent in and out of prison. On the surface, Miyoko appears to be a friendly and sociable woman. She has little trouble getting along with most of the other inmates and prison staff. In truth, Miyoko's upbeat attitude hides the more darker aspects of her personality. Being a lustful nymphomaniac, Miyoko has come to enjoy her life in the corrupt correctional facility, as many of the staff members have made her prison life more comfortable in exchange for sex. She is able to thrive in the amoral environment and takes full advantage of the prison's corrupt system for her benefit. Miyoko eventually comes up with a plan to use the prison as a means to achieve her own insane dream of degeneracy and debauchery.

  • Affably Evil: Miyoko is a genuinely cheerful and friendly woman who acts very cordial towards the other characters despite being an insane anarchist. It's made very clear that Hoozuki actually likes most of the prison staff and inmates, and does not seem to hold any hatred towards anybody. Although the fact that her happy persona is not an act is meant to highlight who truly crazy she is. She still arranges for several that people that she is genuinely fond of to be raped and tortured due to her insane "It's Not Rape If You Enjoyed It" rationalization.
  • All-Loving Hero: Deconstructed. Miyoko genuinely likes most of the other prisoners and staff, and gets along relative well with them. She never seems to truly dislike anybody or hold a grudge against anyone. The issue is she seem incapable of actually empathizing with people. She arranged for several woman in be locked up in her rebuilt prison on false charges and basically forces them to be Sex Slaves because she legitimately wants them to be with her and have them "enjoy" the "paradise" she created. Miyoko would also throw people under the bus for her own benefit or just simply For the Evulz, but never out of hatred. Which in turn just shows how truly crazy she is.
  • Beauty Mark: Two of them on the under the right side of her lips.
  • Big Bad: Towards the other major female characters for the story's second half.
  • Cute and Psycho: Miyoko is an attractive and friendly woman who happens to display signs of sociopathic/psychopathic characteristics despite her sunny disposition.
  • Depraved Bisexual: Although Miyoko has a preference for men, she would coax her female cellmates into have sex with her in exchange for cigarettes. There is also her attraction toward Kitou Masami.
  • Expy: A Perpetual Smiler that loves to cause chaos, corrupts a member of the prison staff to serve as their partner-in-crime, has an odd fixation towards a Perpetual Frowner who wears dark clothing, and has their victims Driven to Madness. She has a lot in common with The Joker. Its made very apparent that Hal intentionally based Miyoko's personalty and role on the DC Comics super-villain near the end of the story, when Miyoko causes a city-wide riot by getting the lower class to turn against the rich and powerful people of the upper class thanks to a broadcast that was released to the public, much like what happened in the 2019 film.
  • The Hedonist: Miyoko has a pathological need for stimulation which she usually try to satisfy through smoking cigarettes and having casual sex. She spent most of her adult life being sent in-and-out of prison because she simply can not give up the thrill of committing petty of crimes whenever she is released. Her need to satisfy her lustful desires and cause chaos only gets worse as the story progress.
  • The Jailer: During the last 2 chapters of the manga, after she used her resources to have her old prison rebuilt and took over as the new warden. Although unlike the last warden, Kitou Masami, Miyoko uses her connections to get other women that she "likes" locked up in her prison on false charges.
  • Nightmare Face: Occasionally will make this face when giving her true psychotic Slasher Smile.
  • Older Than They Look: Although it may just be because of the drawing style, she looks very young for a 38-year-old woman.
  • Perpetual Smiler: Miyoko almost always shown to have a big smile on her face. Granted, she does have different variation to her smile, such as sweet, seductive, passive-aggressive, and Slasher Smile.
  • Rags to Riches: Miyoko started the story as a simple con artist and thief who would repeatedly be sent to prison for her petty crimes. But shortly after the prison burned down, Miyoko was able to make it big when one of her autobiographies about her prison life became a best seller. After the Time Skip, she apparently had enough money and resources to have the prison rebuilt.
  • Seven Deadly Sins: Fittingly the Villain Protagonist of a Hentai is the representation of Lust. Miyoko is the most sexually active of the 7 main women, and is the only one among them to not "break" due to being Too Kinky to Torture. Miyoko's ultimate goal throughout the story is to create an environment where she is free to satisfy her hedonistic desires with the people she "likes".
  • The Sociopath: Definitely shows signs of sociopathic/psychopathic characteristics. Is incapable of empathizing with others, even towards the people she "likes"? Check. A charming manipulator who uses people to get what she wants? Check. Feels no guilt for her actions? Check. A pathological need for stimulation? Check. A grandiose sense of self-importance? Although she is better at hiding it than most examples, her next crazy scheme at the of the story is to create cult centered around her, so... Check.
  • Stalker with a Crush: Strongly implied to be one towards Kitou Masami after the Time Skip. Miyoko arranged for her former warden to be locked up in her rebuilt prison under false charges, personally oversaw Kitou's admission into the prison, takes great pleasure in watching Kitou being raped by her henchmen, and at one point try to get Kitou to wear her old guards hat. It is shown at the beginning of Chapter 8, that Miyoko has kept Kitou by her side after the 1 year time skip. Granted, it is left ambiguous if Miyoko herself personally made a pass at Kitou during her one year of imprisonment.
  • Too Kinky to Torture: Miyoko is the only character among the main female cast to never "break" because she is this. No matter what punishment is given to her, whether its time in a corrupt prison or being coaxed into having sex with the staff, Miyoko just accepts it with a smile, usually just ends up enjoying it anyways. Granted, she is smart enough and well-mannered enough to avoid the worst punishments that the prison has to offer.
  • Villain Protagonist: The main character of the story who happen to be an insane anarchist. She serves as the main antagonist towards the other major female characters for the seconds half of the story.
  • Yandere: Towards the other leading female characters of the story, especially Kitou Masami. By the final chapter, Miyoko arranged for all of them (with the exception of Shumiya Kurumi) to be locked up in the rebuilt prison so that they can "enjoy" the "paradise" of debauchery and sin that Miyoko created.

Shumiya Kurumi[]

Shumiya Kurumi

Inmate Number 114514. The focus character of Chapter 1 and Decoy Protagonist of the story. Kurumi is a prideful sociopath who is given a life sentence after she catfish someone and arranged for the man to be murdered to steal his belonging. Her entitled personality ultimately gets her into trouble with the prison staff during her first day at the correctional facility.

  • Alpha Bitch: She certainly has the prideful attitude down, and had goons doing her bidding before she was arrested.
  • Asshole Victim: Considering that she is a sociopathic Entitled Bitch who has zero remorse for getting a man killed and is generally a very unpleasant person, her Fate Worse Than Death falls under Sexual Karma.
  • Cute and Psycho: Don't let her cute appearance fool you, she is one of the most evilest inmates among the prisoners.
  • Decoy Protagonist: She is the focal character of the story's first chapter. Throughout her chapter, she woulds continuously antagonize the prison staff due to their callous treatment of her. Unfortunately for her, Masami had enough of her rude behavior and had Hikishiki rape Kurumi until she she is driven insane. Masami then sentence Kurumi to spend the rest of her life in the "pig box", a prison cell in solitary confinement where women driven insane by the staff's "punishments" are kept. After Kurumi was indisposed, Hoozuki Miyoko is introduced in the second chapter to serve as the Villain Protagonist for the rest of the story.
  • Entitled Bitch: Kurumi has unbelievable amount entitlement for someone who was found guilty of murder. She honestly believe she can immediately get out of her life sentence if she gains the sympathy of the prison staff when entering the prison. During her intake processing, Kurumi casual takes her phone from the confiscation bin to give the prison a bad review after an excessive body search, declared her intention out loud, and even asks if she can borrow a phone charger. Obviously, Masami was not amused by her attitude.
  • Fate Worse Than Death: Becoming a "pig", basically the girl is raped to the point of going crazy and begins to act like an animal, after her Rape Leads to Insanity and left to spend the rest of her life with the other mentally broken prisoner in solitary confinement.
  • Honey Trap: Lures a man to his death with promise to date him, only to have her thugs kill the man and steal his stuff. Its this crime that ultimately got her sent to prison.
  • Rape Leads to Insanity: She is driven completely insane after being raped by Hikishiki and becomes a mind broken "pig".
  • Seven Deadly Sins: She represented Pride of the 7 main woman of story. Kurumi is an Entitled Bitch who refuses to takes responsibilities for the crimes she committed, including murder. She believes she deserves nothing less than the best treatment during her time in prison and arrogantly believes she can charm her way out her situation. She ultimately receives a punishment that is ironic to her sin: losing all her dignity after being raped until she is driven insane and is then treated like she is nothing more than a dirty animal.
  • Sexual Karma: Being a Honey Trap who lured a man to his death, Kurumi gets her comeuppance when she is raped by Hikishiki until she is driven insane and is them treated like she nothing more than a worthless animal afterwards.
  • The Sociopath: She is a ruthless and arrogant woman who has no remorse for her crimes, has manipulated a man in order to lure him to his death, and she certainly has a grandiose sense of self-importance.
  • Wingding Eyes: After being raped into insanity, her pupils are changed into Heart Symbols representing that she is now a crazed nymphomaniac.

Yamakoshi Ibu[]

Yamakoshi Ibu

Inmate Number 23072. The focus character of Chapter 3. Ibu is introduced as 23 year-old company employee who suffer from a mental illness that results in her seeing hallucinations. Due to her mental illness, Ibu firmly believes that she is being stalked by a killer. Ibu is given a 1 year sentence after she assaulted a young boy during one of her psychotic episodes.

  • 0% Approval Rating: Between her rude behavior towards her cellmates, Hair-Trigger Temper, and her frequent Freak Outs during to her psychotic episodes, Ibu is one of the most disliked prisoners among her fellow inmates, and is frequently bullied by them. It also doesn't help that Ibu make no attempt to try to befriend the other prisoners.
  • Ambiguous Disorder: Ibu's mental illness is never truly stated outright. Although she does show symptoms of paranoid schizophrenia.
  • Anti-Villain: She doesn't really seem like a bad person, and much of her violent attitude is due to mental problems.
  • Cute and Psycho: Ibu is an adorable young woman, unfortunately her mental illness causes her to have violent Freak-Outs. Her Sanity Slippage throughout her chapter has her going back and forth between being absolutely precious and completely crazy.
  • Electric Torture: Her shock therapy sessions that are given to her by Yuuto under the guise he is treating her mental illness. Yuuto eventually admits he always knew that electrical shocks weren't going to help her, and he actually wanted to worsen her condition For the Evulz.
  • Hair-Trigger Temper: She can be very short tempered and clearly has trouble adjusting to her new prison life because of her anger. Her psychotic episodes aren't doing her any favors either.
  • Holier Than Thou: She refuses Miyoko's offer at a hand of friendship and makes no attempts to try to get along with her cellmates, even out of necessity, because she honestly believes she was sent to prison on false charges and does not want to associate with true criminals. Unfortunately, her shortsightedness resulted in her gaining the ire of the other prisoners, and is she is given no support from her cellmates when Masami drags her off to be subjected to Electric Torture due to her frequent psychotic episodes.
  • The Mentally Disturbed: Invoked. Ibu is a mentally ill woman that seems to suffer from paranoid schizophrenia. Despite having a genuinely debilitating condition, nobody in the prison give her any pity and treat her illness like its a character flaw. Justified, as none of the inmates or staff are good people to begin with, and Ibu's rude attitude towards them didn't help either. It gets even worse for her, when the sadistic prison staff uses her condition as an excuse to torture the girl through shock therapy, which only succeeds in worsening her condition, although that was Yamada Yuuto intent.
  • Seven Deadly Sins: The representation of Wrath among the prisoners. Ibu is passionate young woman with a Hair-Trigger Temper that is only made worse by her mental illness, and is prone to Freak-Outs. She was sentence to prison when she accused a young boy for helping her "stalker" and try to attack him in a fit of rage. Ibu is given a punishment that is ironic to the sin she represents: going through Electric Torture until the brain damage leave her in a state of euphoria. Her anger issues are now gone, but she is left off as a happy insane mess.
  • When She Smiles: The few times we see Ibu genuinely happy shows that she has a very cute smile. Unfortunately, its ruined by her declining mental state due to all the shock therapy she is forced to undergo, and she is left with a Broken Smile by the end of her chapter.
  • Would Hurt a Child: It's what got her sent into prison in the first place.

Kinugasa Minto[]

Kinugasa Minto

Inmate Number 808056. The focus character of Chapter 4. Minto is a 20 year-old cyberbully who was charged for intimidation after she got caught sending death threats over social media and is given a 18 month sentence. Since many of the inmates look down on the nature of Minto's crime, she is frequently bullied by the other prisoners and would regularly get her side dishes stole during meals. Minto has been trying to win over favor with the de-facto leader of the inmates, Hoozuki Miyoko, in hopes that she would at least let Minto keep her favorite dessert, after meal pudding, a treat that Minto would "defend until her dying breath".

  • 0% Approval Rating: She is apparently one of the most disliked inmates in the prison, since many of the prisoners tend to look down on cyberbullies. It really says something when Miyoko considers her beneath Kurumi (the girl who arranged for a man to be murdered). Like Ibu, part of the reason behind this is Minto making no attempt to befriend her fellow inmates.
  • All Crimes Are Equal: She is a victim of this, although her crime is relatively minor, she suffers a punishment as horrible as criminals who have much more severe sentences.
  • Asshole Victim: Played With. Minto certainly deserves to be punished for harassing someone over social media, but all the horrible stuff she goes through, like being nearly Eaten Alive, just seems excessive.
  • Beauty Is Never Tarnished: Despite being left to be Eaten Alive by a horde of insane prisoners and graphically shown getting parts of her flesh bitten and torn off, and then apparently surviving a massive fire, Minto manage to get through all of that without a single scar on her body. Although physically she was able to recover from her near-death experiences quite nicely, but according to Miyoko, Minto is mentally "broken" by end of the story.
  • Can't Get Away with Nuthin': Minto has the absolute worse luck among the prisoners and is frequently subjected to Disproportionate Retribution for even her most menial offenses.
  • Eaten Alive: At the end of her chapter, Hikishiki decides to cruelly throw into Minto in the "pig box" and cover the girl in pudding. The insane prisoners within the cell then attempt to consume the pudding by viciously biting and eating Minto's flesh. Although its made very clear that Hikishiki intended for Minto to be completely devoured by the horde, she miraculous survives and physically was able to make a full recovery by Chapter 8. However, Miyoko mention that the experience has left her "broken" mentally.
  • Holier Than Thou: Since Minto see no fault in her crime, she does not view herself as a true criminal and thus feels it beneath her to try to befriends the other prisoners. Which is ironic as the other inmates bully Minto because they disapprove of her act of harassing someone over social media. Unlike Ibu, she is wary enough to try to get along with them out of necessity, but since she does not have a single true friend within the prison, the other inmates are quick to throw her under the bus when it suits them.
  • Trademark Favorite Food: Pudding.
  • Seven Deadly Sins: Minto intense love of pudding and frustration of getting her side-dishes stolen makes it very clear that she is the representation of Gluttony among the 7 main women of the story. Her desire to indulge in favorite food is the source of most of her troubles throughout Chapter 4. Like the other prisoners, Minto is given a punishment that goes with the theme of the sin she represent: being forced feed disgusting, ill-prepared pudding as she is being raped and then left to be Eaten Alive by a bunch ravenous, insane inmates after being covered in the stuff.
  • Sweet Tooth: If her love for pudding is anything to go by.
  • Unexplained Recovery: She was apparently Eaten Alive by the "pigs" at end of Chapter 4. However in the final chapter, she shown to be alive without a single scratch on her. There is also the fact that she survived the prison fire between Chapter 4 and 5.
  • When She Smiles: Minto has a truly adorable smile when she thinks she is about to receive favorite dessert, only for it be crushed when the treat she craves is denied to her.

Soyogi Nana[]

Soyogi Nana

A broke college girl who is convinced by her best friend, Ootoru Yui, to get a "sugar daddy" in order to gain some extra cash. Although Nana was initially against the idea, she quickly changed her mind after seeing how much money she earned from going on a single date with her new "sugar daddy", Hishinuma. Unfortunately for Nana, her newly gained wealthy would prevent her realizing how truly dangerous Hishinuma is until it is too late. She serves as the focus character of Chapter 5.

  • Corrupt the Cutie: Nana is easily one of the most innocent people among a cast full of Jerkasses. However, she does let her greed get the best of her when she realized how much money she can make as a Gold Digger, and then it goes all downhill for there...
  • Fatal Flaw: Greed. Interestingly enough, Nana has stated that she would run away from Hishinuma the second he asked for a sexual favor, showing that she isn't that desperate for money. However, her mistake was never questioning why a creepy old man she barely knew kept giving her large sums of money for menial "dates". It seems Nana was not willing to look a gift horse in the mouth until it was too late.
  • Gold Digger: Is talked into taking up Hishinuma to be her "sugar daddy" by her best friend, Yui. Nana was against the idea at first, until she saw all the money she can make for simple "dates" that do not include sexual favors.
  • Innocently Insensitive: Doesn't realize that her bragging about Hishinuma spending more time with her over Yui was fueling her friend's resentment towards her.
  • Miscarriage of Justice: In Chapter 8, Miyoko uses her connection to get Nana admitted to her rebuilt prison on false charges.
  • Only in It For the Money: For the most part, Nana is a fairly normal and nice girl, especially compare to the other prisoners, who only just wants to make some easy money. Unfortunately, Nana let her greed get the best of her as she willingly follows Hishinuma into the run down prison as a part their "date", resulting in her being ambushed, captured, and raped.
  • Seven Deadly Sins: The representation of Greed of the 7 main women, being a Gold Digger who is Only in It For the Money. Her desire to obtain more money and material possessions from her "sugar daddy" is what leads her into danger. Much like the other women, Nana gets a punishment matching the theme of her sin: having all her money stolen by a local mugger and is then used as resource when the same mugger pimped her to his friends to get even more money. It only get worse when its revealed she ended up in Miyoko's prison because didn't have enough money hire a proper attorney when faced with false charges.
  • Token Good Teammate: Of the 7 main female characters, Nana is easily the most innocent of the bunch. While her act of gold digging might not be the most ethical thing to do, she isn't breaking any laws, unlike most of the other women who are genuine criminals. She lacks Yui's Alpha Bitch qualities, making Nana much more sympathetic. Plus the only reason she eventually becomes a prisoner is because of a Miscarriage of Justice.

Ootoru Yui[]

Ootoru Yui

Soyogi Nana's best friend and fellow college student. Yui is an experienced gold digger who has recently taken up Hishinuma as her newest "sugar daddy" and convinces Nana to follow in her footsteps to earns some extra cash. Although Yui may come off as a friendly person at first, deep down she is actually a very envious woman who only truly cares about herself, and would quickly despises anyone who takes the center of attention away from her, even if that person is her best friend. Yui serves as the focus character of Chapter 6.

  • Alpha Bitch: Although Yui never actually truly committed a crime before her imprisonment, as she was locked away as a result of a Miscarriage of Justice, she is still a pretty terrible person who would become envious towards anyone who steals her spotlight and would abandon her friends without a second thought.
  • Asshole Victim: Yui might not have been a criminal before she he was sent to Miyoko's prison and forced to be a Sex Slave, but she is still an Alpha Bitch and a horrible friend towards Nana who was willing to leave her "best friend" in the hands of a bunch of sadistic thugs purely out of petty jealously.
  • Cute and Psycho: On the surface, Yui is a cordial and upbeat person. That is until she becomes a Green-Eyed Monster when in the presence of another woman she is jealous of. Due to her Sanity Slippage as a result of the torture and rape she had to endure, Yui goes Ax Crazy on Nana near the end of Chapter 8.
  • Dirty Coward: Reveals herself to be this in Chapter 6 after seeing Nana being raped by a bunch of thugs and her first thoughts were to runaway and save herself.
  • Fair-Weather Friend: Towards Soyogi Nana. Yui is pretty quick to abandoned Nana at the first sight of danger, and is willing to sacrifice Nana if it would improve her own situation. Later, she tries to befriend Miyoko, despite Yui's obvious dislike of her, in hopes that Miyoko would help her gain fame and fortune.
  • Faux Affably Evil: So long as Yui is the center of attention, she will act friendly and cordial towards most people. In truth, Yui is a selfish Green-Eyed Monster who on more than one occasion abandons her best friend to a dangerous situation.
  • Gold Digger: Has been one much longer than Nana, and was the one who convinced her best friend to engage in the practice. Later, she would try to befriend Miyoko in hopes to use her connections in the entertainment industry to become famous.
  • Green-Eyed Monster: Toward Nana when she started to get more attention from Hishinuma. Yui became so resentful towards her best friend that she actually states the she believes Nana deserved to be raped and tormented for trying to "steal" Yui's "catch". She shows some jealously toward Miyoko due to her fame and fortune, and engages in some catty behavior with the ex-convict turned local celebrity.
  • Jerkass Has a Point: In Chapter 6, when a tired and barely conscious Nana desperately clings on to Yui after she find Nana being raped by Kouji and his crew, Yui begs Nana to let her go and state their best course of action is for Nana to let Yui escape so that she can go get help. Even though Yui is clearly just trying to save herself at this point, she isn't entirely wrong. Being a petite college girl, Yui wouldn't be able to do much against 5 grown men, even if she wanted to save Nana. It would have been best for of them if Yui did leave to get help. Although depending on reader's Alternative Character Interpretation it is possible Nana believes that Yui wouldn't return for her if she escape, or she wanted Yui to be caught since Nana blames Yui for her terrible situation.
  • Miscarriage of Justice: In Chapter 8, Miyoko uses her connection to get Yui admitted to her rebuilt prison on false charges.
  • Seven Deadly Sins: The representation of Envy among the cast. Yui will quickly become resentful towards any woman who has better success than her, showing jealously towards Nana when Hishinuma started to spend more time with her, and expressing a dislike towards Miyoko for her fame. In Chapter 5, Yui has enough sense to not follow Hishinuma into the run down prison in the middle of the night, but leaves Nana behind in the sketchy situation due to her petty jealously. Although in Chapter 6, Yui is successfully lured into the prison by Miyoko out of the belief that she could use Miyoko to gain as much fame and wealth as the ex-convict. Of course, like the other women, Yui is given a punishment that follows the theme of her sin: being dragged down by the girl she was jealous of and getting same recognition as Nana that she wanted. Unfortunately for Yui, she caught the attention of a bunch of depraved rapists.
  • Sexual Karma: In Chapter 6, when Yui tries to abandoned Nana to be continuously raped by Kouji and his crew, Yui spitefully tells her "friend" that she deserves to be raped for try to steal Yui's "catch" (referring to Hishinuma). Of course, Yui was caught by the thugs shortly afterwards and is gang-raped by them. They even decided to be extra cruel to Yui due to her poor treatment of Nana.

The Prison Staff[]

Kitou Masami[]

Kitou Masami

The ruthless chief warden of the prison. Masami is a cruel and harsh woman who would arrange for her prisoners be tortured and raped if she find them to be a nuisance. She refers to the inhuman treatment of her more rowdy prisoners as a form of "discipline". Often these acts of "disciplining" her prisoners would normally lead to them being driven completely insane before Masami has them locked away in solitary confinement. Despite her vicious treatment toward her unruly prisoners, Masami is willing to overlooks infractions and the corruption going on in her prison, so long as its not done in front of her. She serves as the focus character of Chapter 7.

  • All Crimes Are Equal: Torture the prisoners in the same way no matter how slight their crimes were.
  • Asshole Victim: Being a corrupt prison warden who arranges for her prisoners to be tortured and raped until they are driven insane, Masami receive her Sexual Karma when she herself becomes an inmate in Miyoko's prison and is forced to be a Sex Slave.
  • Beauty Mark: Under her left eye.
  • Big Bad: Serves as the main antagonist for the first half of the story.
  • Blue With Shock: During her re-introduction in Chapter 7 after seeing the chaotic state of Miyoko's prison. Kitou then gives an expression of pure terror when Miyoko reveals she knows about of the horrible things Masami did when she ran the prison, and likely realized exactly what Miyoko plans to do with her.
  • Demoted to Dragon: Goes from being the Big Bad for the first half of the story to essentially becoming Miyoko's slave by the end of the story.
  • Determinator: She arguably the strongest-willed person among the 7 main woman of the story, as she continue to remain defiant after being assaulted and rape by Kouji multiple times. Kitou ultimately does not "break" until she is forcefully given a very potent aphrodisiac. In Chapter 8, its strongly implied that Miyoko got her addicted on drug to keep her submissive.
  • Drama-Preserving Handicap: Masami spent the first half of the story as a physically capable prison warden who is strong enough to drag a fully grown woman across a room with little issue and can fight off a hoard of insane women that want to have sex with her. So under normal conditions, Masami could easily defend herself when she is forced to serve time in Miyoko's chaotic prison. But when it came time for her focal chapter, its revealed that the prison fire incident has left Masami wheelchair-bound and her legs are only capable of limited movement. Naturally, this make Masami an easy target for the prison inmates and "staff" to attack and/or rape her.
  • Even the Girls Want Her: Many of the "pigs" clearly wants her. There is also Hoozuki Miyoko who is a complete Yandere for her former warden, and is shown to be clearly aroused at the sight of Masami being raped.
  • Expy: To Kiwako Makina from Deadman Wonderland.
  • Functional Addict: By last chapter of the manga, Kouji and likely Miyoko got her addicted on an aphrodisiac, but she is still functional enough to set up a live broadcast on a laptop to transmit evidences of the crimes committed by the prison committee to the entire city.
  • How the Mighty Have Fallen: Masami spent the first half of the story as an intimating warden who cruelly punish her prisoners that prove to be an annoyance to her. However, by the end of the story, Masami has become a helpless, wheelchair-bound nymphomaniac addicted to drugs and sex as a result of Miyoko's machinations.
  • The Jailer: Being the warden of the prison for the first half of the story.
  • Meaningful Background Event: At the beginning of Chapter 8, Masami can be seen setting up a laptop that would be used to record and transit Miyoko "meeting" with the prison committee and expose the corruption going on within the prison.
  • Miscarriage of Justice: In Chapter 7, when Miyoko uses her connection to frame Masami for a false shoplifting charge to get her locked up in the rebuilt prison. Ironically, it is only crime Masami is innocent of and is far less severe than the crimes she committed during her time as a prison warden.
  • Ms. Fanservice: Being a busty prison warden in a Hentai.
  • Nice Hat: Part of uniform. Miyoko try to get Makina to wear the hat again when Makina was admitted into the rebuilt prison.
  • Perpetual Frowner: In contrast to Miyoko's Perpetual Smiler.
  • Ice Queen: Being the cold and ruthless warden of the prison who would harshly punish any inmate that annoys her, regardless of the severity of their offensive.
  • Seven Deadly Sins: The representation of Sloth among the 7 main women. Masami refuses to do anything about the corruptions in her prisons, and is an active contributor to it. She would arrange for the prisoners that annoy her to be cruelly punished by either Hikishiki or Yamada Yuuto, instead of giving them the help or patience they need. Refuses into look into Minto's claims of bullying and Ibu's clear need for proper mental treatment. As Miyoko points out, Masami tends to just ignore the problems in her prisons. Like most of the other women, Masami is given a punishment that is ironic to her sin: her neglect ended up costing her when a fire at the prison leaves her wheelchair-bound as she unable to move her legs beyond wiggling her toes. Naturally, her immobile state makes her an easy target in Miyoko's prison.
  • Sexual Karma: Masami spend a good chunk of her career allowing several of her prisoners to be tortured and raped until they are driven insane, which she claims was for the sake of "disciplining" them. She shows a great deal of contempt for the crazed nymphomaniacs that she created, and has the "pigs" locked up in solitary confinement. Karma would catch up to her when Masami is left wheelchair-bound, which is strongly implied to be the result of the neglectfully way she ran her prison, and when her Stalker with a Crush get her sent to the rebuilt prison on false charges. Masami was essentially forced to be a Sex Slave in Miyoko's prison and eventually loses her sanity when she is given a very potent aphrodisiac. By the end of the story, her pupils have changed into Heart Symbols, much like the "pigs", implying that Masami has now become just like prisoners that she would victimize.
  • What Happened to the Mouse?: It hasn't been made clear of what became of Kitou after Miyoko exposed the corruption going on in the correctional facility near the end of the story, especially since Kitou was an accomplice to Miyoko's plan. Presumable, like Miyoko, she was taken into the custody of less corrupt officials after the prison was shut down. Although given that her Stalker with a Crush was able to gain more public support in the epilogue, its very likely that Miyoko will drag Kitou along for her next crazy scheme.
  • Wingding Eyes: The last time we see Masami in story, her pupils have changed into Heart Symbols, which seems to symbolize she has become just like the "pigs" that she victimized and despised.

Hikishiki[]

Hikishiki

The chief guard of the prison and Kitou Masami's right-hand man. Hikishiki is usually the one in charge of "disciplining" any prisoner that Masami finds to be a nuisance. He is also the guard in charge of taking care of the "pigs", prisoners who have been driven insane from being raped and tortured by the prisons staff.

  • Abhorrent Admirer: The "pigs" are completely obsessed with his dick, but he is not interested in them, and he openly hates them.
  • Chuck Cunningham Syndrome: He completely disappears during the story's second half. His absence could be explained due to prison fire that took place between Chapter 4 and 5, although it is left ambiguous if he was killed in the fire or survived.
  • The Dragon: To Kitou Masami.
  • Hot Guys Are Bastards: Possibly one of his only redeeming qualities are his good looks, just too bad his personality is not so swell.
  • Never My Fault: He hates "pigs" with passion, considering them worse than trash, not caring that he broke them to begin with.
  • Nice Hat: Part of his standard prison uniform.
  • Nightmare Face: He has some pretty twisted Slasher Smiles.
  • Pay Evil Unto Evil: His excuses for why he sees no problems with raping prisoners under Kitou's command. Of course, its pretty obvious that he only torments the more "unruly" inmates because he is just simply a sadist.
  • Slasher Smile: Loves to give these.
  • Would Hit a Girl: Has little issue hitting a woman in the face.

Hishinuma[]

The prison counselor who shares a Friends with Benefits relationship with Miyoko, as she would spend her days off from prison labor having sex with him. After the Time Skip, he would become Miyoko's right-hand man. His main job is help her gather the resources she needs to rebuild the prison and turn it into a "paradise", which includes finding woman that they can be added to prison roster to be used as Sex Slaves.

Yamada Yuuto[]

A prison doctor and the facility's main medical practitioner. He is secretly Miyoko's supplier for contraband cigarettes and medication. Despite his seemly normal appearance,Yuuto is just as sadistic as the rest of the prison staff.

Kouji and his Crew[]

A gang of criminals led by the thug, Kouji. After the Time Skip, they were hired by Miyoko and Hishinuma to be their "muscle" and would later serve as the unofficial "guards" of Miyoko's rebuilt prison.

  • Ambiguously Brown: Kouji and one of his friends noticeably has a darker skin complexion than the rest of the cast.
  • The Brute: They serve as Miyoko and Hishinuma's muscle during the second half of the story.
  • The Hedonist: Kouji and his friends are usually seen drinking alcohol, smoking cigarettes, and having sex with women.
  • Moral Myopia: Despite the fact the Kouji and his friends are sadistic rapists who were actively victimizing the girls at the time, they mock Nana and Yui for being Gold Diggers by pointing out how dangerous and unethical the practice is. Later they also show disapproval of Yui being a Fair Weather Friend toward Nana when Yui try to blame Nana for their situation.
  • Suspiciously Similar Substitute: Kouji in particular take over Hikishiki's role as the main tormentor towards most of the female cast (Nana, Yui, and Masami) during the story's second half.
  • Villainous Friendship: Mostly with each other despite all of them being depraved criminals. They also get along with Miyoko and Hishinuma as well.
  • What Happened to the Mouse?: Its never made clear what became of them after Miyoko's prison was shut down or if they were ever punished for their crimes.
  • Would Hit a Girl: One of the gang members has little issue hitting a woman's face, particular is that person happen to be Yui. Although other guys would rather avoid punching the women they capture, as they don't want to ruin the woman's good looks as they are having their way with them.

The Prison Committee[]

A group of Corrupt Politicians and Miyoko's benefactors who provided her the resources and finances needed for her to rebuild the prison after the first correctional facility burned down. Their leading members include Head of the Government, Ibe, and Head of Public Order Maintenance, Maiwa. They agreed to let Miyoko run the prison is exchange of being able to freely uses the prisoner as their Sex Slaves.

  • Aristocrats Are Evil: They look down on the lower class and have little trouble forcing the prisoners as Sex Slaves as the committee views them as the lowest of low, including the inmate that are only in the prison because of a Miscarriage of Justice. It made it pretty easy for Miyoko to have the public turn against them by recording them ranting about how much they hate the poor while they were having their way with the prisoners.
  • Bigger Bad: They don't actually appear until the manga's last chapter where its revealed that they were the backers to Hoozuki Miyoko's plan to rebuild the prison in exchange for being able to use the female inmates as their Sex Slaves.
  • Corrupt Politician: Most of the committee are this.
  • Dirty Old Men: Many of them are clearly much older than the women in their 20s who they force to be their Sex Slaves.
  • Oh Crap: All of them have a pretty glorious one when Miyoko reveals that she has been broadcasting their "orgy" with the prisoners to the entire city, especially since the footage has them flat out confessing the many crimes they are guilt of, as well as their admission of their hatred towards the lower classes.
  • Pragmatic Villainy: At the beginning of the final chapter, the prison committee decides to shut down the prison only after 1 year it was rebuilt and fire Miyoko for the chaotic way she was running the place. However, this is not because of the human rights violations, or the various crimes that Miyoko committed. The committee just can no longer keep Miyoko's actions under wraps, and it won't be very long until Miyoko's crimes are traced back to them. Ironically, Mikyoko decides to just expose their crimes anyways.
