A recurring joke/tradition of the series owing to Akko's own Butt Monkey status is that Akko has her face flat with bruises from mild harm:
The first short film has her face smacked against the desk by a small fairy summoned by a professor for dozing off.
In pilot episode of TV Series, "Starting Over", Akko fell flat on the face after unintentionally crashed onto Sucy. Other instances include in “Don't Stop Me Now" and "Stanship Take-Off!".
Chamber of Time game, she got crashed against the ground after failed to stop an animated skeleton model under the influence of a Magic Key and Lukic's concoction for a second time.
Akko's first meeting with Sucy is always a hilarious one owing to latter's status as Token Evil Teammate:
Teri Terio manga has Sucy tricked Akko to uproot a baby mandrake with... let's just say amusing result if you ignore the nose-bleed.
TV Series has greater effort and humor: In an effort to make the brunette leave her alone, Sucy first animate Akko's Alcor plushie which tthen comically pecks her in the eye without warning and later, silently gives a handshake with illusory snakes to scare the daylight out of her when the former didn't work.
Keisuke Sato manga's adaptation of aforementioned situation has more subtle way to shut the motormouth Akko up: Turn her mouth into a closed zipper and run!
Short Films Continuity[]
As humiliating and painful as it seemed, seeing Akko loses control over her broom is still funny to watch.
In addition of being somewhat nightmarish and awesome, the moment when Sucy melts a minotaur with Festering Potion counts as Narm since she remarked, "I guess it was too strong."
In The Enchanted Parade Akko seems to lose count about how much she and her roommates got called into Student Counseling Room.

TV Series[]
Episode 1:
During the scene of the opening ceremony of Luna Nova, you can see that one of the professors being a golden fish in a bowl wearing witch hat. Surely she'll serve as a plot point later on but, it's as hilarious as understandable that you initially don't take it seriously until then.
Episode 2:
Akko's This Is Gonna Suck reaction upon finding classes won't be as exciting as she hoped to be. Need to be seen here to be believed.
Shooting Star's reputation, including the tendency for curb-stomping anyone who touch it, as stated by Last Wednesday Society's proprietor, proved not as exaggerated as one expected it would be. As if it wrestled its way out of Amanda's clutches in humiliating manner (luckily, no one is there to witness the whole thing) and upon being grabbed by the determined Akko next, it responds by taking her to a tour around the world underwater and above the clouds.
The latter part doubles as CMOA since Akko barely aware with how far Shooting Star took her throughout the ordeal which apparently lasts only few minutes.
Episode 7:
The episode begins with Lúkic terrifies her students by describing morbid consequences of committing fraud and reviving the dead in creepy and unsettling manner... until Akko turns the mood 180 degree by asking whether the whole thing will be included in the oncoming exam, leaving the speechless creepy professor nods awkwardly.
Episode 8:
The episode begins with Sucy completed her Ultra Super Energy Drink out of ingredients gathered by Akko throughout events of Chamber of Time which supposedly can awaken a person's magic potential at its fullest and considered to test it on the sleeping Akko in case of her botching it. In the end however, she drinks it all herself upon realizing that completely unlocking Akko's magic potential would make her life boring.
If that one not amusing enough, the fact that Akko awakes in the next morning with the funnel that Sucy put in the night before still stuck in her mouth surely is. In fact, she finally spits it out right after hastily changing clothes out of fear of arriving late at the upcoming class with Professor Finnelan.
Episode 10:
The episode's recurring gag is that whenever a person is stung by a Cupid Bee and then sees his/her crush, said crush's appearance is drawn in Shōjo manga-esque style.
Another gag is Akko's Blue With Shock every time someone confesses their love for her due to aforementioned Bee's sting followed by Hannah and Barbara taking it even worse.
Episode 17:
When infiltrating Appleton Academy, an all-boys school, Amanda magically dresses as a boy while Akko opted to become a mouse apparently so she can remain hidden inside the former's pocket upon noticing Andrew enrolling there. Oddly enough, no one save Andrew (who easily recognizes her due to retaining a bit of her hairstyle) and the witch-hating Louis (who abruptly accuses Amanda as a witch) who comments about it, let alone pointing out Akko's rushed decision to do so not the brightest one considering Appleton Academy was founded by those who involved in Witch Hunts during Middle Ages.
Episode 19:
Akko's poor attempt to imitate aristocrats' dining etiquette when she had to join Cavendishes and Hanbridges during their dinner together. Need to be seen here to be believed.
