Corruption of Champions is a free online interactive text roleplaying hentai game, created by Fenoxo. The player takes up the role of a villager sent through a mysterious portal to a demon-infested world as a "champion" to fight against the demons. Abandoned and alone, they must then try to survive in a world crawling with sex-crazed monsters.

Tropes used in Corruption of Champions include:
  • Amazonian Beauty: A female PC who spends enough time at the gym and/or has 100 in Strength. Many NPCs qualify, notably Urta, Kiha, Ember and Izumi. It's probably easier to name females who don't fit this description.
  • Animated Armor: Valeria, although it's because she's a Blob Monster acting like armor.
  • Animorphism: Many transformative items change your characters towards being a furry; overindulging in these often results in a Bad End where your character fully transforms both physically and mentally into an animal.
  • Anti-Grinding: The amount of experience you gain from a battle diminishes as you level up. Once you reach more than 10 levels above your opponent, you'll gain only a single experience point.
  • Badass Furry: The player can potentially be one of these.
  • Baleful Polymorph: The base concept behind the various transformation-based Bad Ends is that the physical changes ultimately build up into negative mental changes, such as leaving the former player little more than an animal.
  • Big Bad: Lethice, Queen of the Demons.
  • Black and White Magic: Black magic is powered by lust and pertains to increasing the lust of others. It rises in effectiveness when your character is corrupted. White magic is based on mental focus and is much closer to Ki Attacks.
  • Body Horror: Some of the mutations your character can get; and the transformation descriptions involve things like your bones breaking and re-forming, or being paralyzed with agony while a pair of wings rip out of your back.
  • Boldly Coming: A somewhat rare fantasy version of the trope. Your character originates in a world that only has human natives, and then ends up in a world full of demihumans and Petting Zoo People... and proceeds to seduce (or be seduced by) as many as they like.
  • Bondage Is Bad: Most of the game's BDSM material tends to be displayed by either a heavily corrupted player or by some of the nastier NPCs. It's rarely portrayed in a very pleasant light for the one being dominated.
  • Breast Expansion: One of the big fetishes in the game.
  • Catgirl: Eating Whisker Fruit can turn the PC into one.
  • Cool Sword: The Beautiful Sword, which is the most powerful weapon for the first half of the game, at 17 damage as opposed to the 15 damage of the Claymore and Warhammer (which has a chance of "stun"). However, it's best used when at 0.00 Corruption. You find it for free by the Lake, and it's implied to be the first sword ever made. The next weapon is the Jeweled Rapier, which, if you have maxed Rapier Skill, does 37 damage.
  • Cute Monster Girl: Sand Witches, Lacta Bovines, Goblins, Driders, Harpies, Slime Girls, Kiha the dragon-girl and Helia the salamander, just to name a few. For a given value of "cute", anyway. You can also become one if you are female, have a heavily mutated body, and are described as attractive in the Appearance section.
  • Dark Fantasy: The game is a pornographic take on the concept. Magic exists, but it can be used as The Corruption; the main villains of the game (the demons) are a race of humans who literally ripped their souls out of their bodies and mutated themselves into perverse caricatures through attempts to use magic to achieve ever-greater heights of sexual pleasure and decadence. They've since spread their corruptive influence across the world, warping most creatures and beings into savage, lust-fueled brutes or literal soulless animals.
  • Dark Is Not Evil: You can mutate you character into bizarre or exotic form, but remain a good champion.
  • Dark-Skinned Redhead/Dark-Skinned Blond: Your PC, depending on initial choices and dye-jobs. Kiha is a Dark-Skinned Redhead, and all the Sand Witches are Dark-Skinned Blonds, and won't hesitate to use their magic to turn the PC into one too.
  • Den of Iniquity: The Orphanage, one part brothel, one part fancy club, one part flophouse for the disenfranchised (and yes, that includes orphans.)
  • Disc One Nuke: The Beautiful Sword. It can be acquired very early on. At zero or very low corruption, you can easily mow down many of the lesser creatures.
  • Eldritch Location: The realm of Mareth. Due to the quirks of the environment, you can travel to places you've been to, do some activities, and travel back to camp in only an hour. Also, Kitsune's Mansion.
  • Everyone Is Bi: Almost all of the NPCs are bisexual. And the player, if they want to.
  • Evil Twin: During Lethice's Stronghold, the player must fight a doppelganger who is exactly the same as them (not unlike Kamen Rider Ryuga), and if they lose, it's a game over.
  • Gag Boobs: The player can have literally truck-sized boobs. And that's not the biggest breast size in the game.
    • The Sand Witch bad end involves the Sand Witch giving the player breasts so swollen with milk that either one is bigger than the player's body.
    • Succubi are stated to all have huge breasts, and making the breasts grow is the automatic effect of Succubus Milk.
    • Lacta Bovines have double-H to triple-H cup breasts.
    • Goblins who live long enough and bear enough children grow breasts so big that they can't move any more.
  • Gag Penis: A player can potentially have a 100 inch long penis. Or, if they want, they can have ten of them.
    • Most phallus-equipped individuals tend to be excessively oversized, as part of the Bigger is Better in Bed trope. Corrupted characters, of course, are way more likely to have this, since absurd sexual excess is literally their thing.
  • Gay Option: Ro'Gar, a male orc the player can encounter in the swamp, is notable as one of the characters to subvert the above mentioned Everyone Is Bi trope. He'll befriend you regardless of gender, but you can only have sex with him if you're male. After a few encounters, he'll move to Tel'Adre, where you can meet him in the bar.
  • Gender Bender: Male to female transformation is easy; just drink Succubus Milk or LaBova to your heart's content. Female to male is harder, mostly because Incubus Draft is rarer. Either gender to Hermaphrodite is simple as taking a drink of Succubus Milk or Incubus Draft while being male/female, respectively.
  • Gratuitous Rape: When you defeat most enemies while your Lust bar is high, you have the option to rape them. More corrupted characters will rape more violently, but any character will do it if you want, and there's usually no penalty.
  • Harem Genre: The PC can potentially acquire almost a dozen lovers in their camp; some follower like Ember and Sophie more or less become lovers as well not to mention the other lovers who can't move into the camp.
  • Harping on About Harpies: Harpies are a random encounter in the High Mountains area. A voluptuous harpy MILF is a recruitable follower.
  • Healing Factor: The "Regeneration" perk endows the .
  • Hermaphrodite: The player can become one of these with ease.
  • I Love The Dead: Defied, necrophilia is one of the few fetishes not touched upon; although one partner is a ghost girl encountered in the town ruins.
  • Inconvenient Summons: Defied, Ceraph won't answer a summon if she's "busy" (knowing wink); she'll send one or two of her minions instead.
  • Insult of Endearment: Kiha, the dragon girl living in the swamp, calls you "doofus" as a pet-name.
  • Karma Meter: The Corruption meter in the Stats menu gives an overall appraisal of the PC's attitude, with higher corruption leading to more depraved and self-serving actions. Some actions and areas can only be accessed with a high or low corruption, and several NPCs will be LostForever if spoken to with high corruption.
  • Logical Weakness: When the player fights the Doppelganger in Lethice's Stronghold, it takes on the player's stats and appearances. However, it also takes on the player's weaknesses, meaning that if you just spam Arouse on the doppelganger, you can win the fight relatively easily.
  • Lost Forever: The game absolutely loves this trope. If you don't grab the beautiful sword before you overload the factory valves, the sword will be broken by the time you find it. If you don't defeat Valeria during the Tower of the Phoenix, you'll never be able to recruit her since you can't revisit that dungeon. Most followers can also be permanently locked out if you make the wrong choices.
  • Magical Martial Arts: Jojo teaches you how to use the "Cleansing Palm" spell this way.
  • Magic Knight: You can use spells and swing your weapon with equal effectiveness.
  • Mister Seahorse: Satyrs have responded to becoming a One Gender Race by developing the ability to impregnate or be impregnated by anything, and are unique in this ability. An expansion for further content of this sort was planned, but the author gave up on it.
  • Mutagenic Food: Various items and potions can bestow transformations on you, slowly turning you into animal or monstrous forms representative of their origin. "Canine Peppers", for example, subtly alter your physiology into a more... canine form, while "Whisker Fruit" makes you more catlike. Items of opposed species will soon cancel out each other's transformations- and overdosing on certain transformation items will turn you permanently into that animal, resulting in a bad ending for you.
  • Nonstandard Game Over: Subverted; your character can live through being beaten to a pulp (although it puts you on bedrest for a couple days) or being buggered senseless by a monster with a knob bigger that they are; there are, however, Bad Ends that end the game by making your character either an animal or a mindless Sex Slave.
  • One-Time Dungeon: Tower of the Phoenix.
  • Our Demons Are Different: Sorcerous humans utterly corrupted by their lust-powered magic who learned how to externalize their souls.
  • Our Gargoyles Rock: Animated statues made in the form of succubi with Moe personalities.
  • Our Goblins Are Different: They're a One Gender Race of small but exaggeratedly curvy women with exotically colored skin (green most commonly) and oversized ears. Once a brilliant race of alchemists and artificers, the corruption wiped out their menfolk and left the womenfolk both fetishistically obsessed with pregnancy and partially bimbofied, so their entire "culture" now revolves around using aphrodisiacs and traps to try and trap males (or hermaphrodites, or women they can inject with penis-growing drugs) to become drugged-up breeder studs for their personal pleasure.
  • Petting Zoo People: Most of the creatures, and especially most of the pure individuals, are anthropomorphic animals.
  • Pun: Sand Witch enemies.
  • Recycled in Space: Trials in Tainted Space (abbreviated to "TITS".)
    • Artifact Title: There is no "taint" save the one already on your character.
    • Doing in the Wizard: Instead of mutating you being an inherent quality of food, you have a cyborg implant that gene-splices you to be biologically compatible with it; which often results in taking traits associated with the alien that produces it (which is a rather clever way of explaining No Biochemical Barriers). Psychic Powers replace magic.
  • Shadow Archetype: The Bazaar is this to Tel'Adre in a somewhat literal sense; you need some corruption to enter the Bazaar for the first time, whereas you need to be as uncorrupted as possible to enter Tel'Adre for the first time. Tel'Adre is seen as a somewhat uptown city, whereas the Bazaar has the more undesirable elements.
  • Shapeshifting Lover: an encounter with a Phouka can result in his taking the form of various furries upon request. If he doesn't decide to just beat you up or share some whiskey.
  • Shout Out: Rathazul channels Professor Farnsworth when crafting beegirl-chitin armor, offering to "show you the different lengths of string I used".
  • Skippable Boss: Marble's Sister Clara, who already is an Optional Boss (if you don't romance Marble or make the wrong choices, you'll never encounter her), fits this trope in the quest to purify Marble - if you have Amily, Isabella, Jojo, Kiha, and/or Helia as followers, calling her out or refusing to drink her tea will automatically have them attack Clara, bypassing the fight.
  • So Beautiful It's a Curse: Invoked. The item Bimbo Liqueur makes your character very attractive-increases hips to "curvy", hair length to "long", increases bust size to "DD"'s; but it nukes your intelligence stat, and also curses you with an irreversible "Valley Girl" accent.
  • STD Immunity: No micro-organism-based STD's, athough there are parasites that can be transmitted by knobbing.
  • Stout Strength: It's possible to be fat and have high strength. Several random events and Vitality Tinctures increase your strength stat, while pastries from the bakery make your character pudgy.
  • Squick: Not for the faint of heart or close-minded, for sure.
  • Super Soldier: The harpy queen's Phoenixes; crossbreeds of harpy and salamander enhanced with goblin alchemy.
  • Taken for Granite: This happens to your character when you lose to the basilisks if your speed is too low to begin with. To make matters worse, your character is still being aware and the text ends in "you have no voice, and you must scream."
  • That One Level: If you're not prepared for it, the Tower of the Phoenix is this. Unlike the other dungeons, you can't go back to your camp and rest, and if you get defeated here, it's game over - and the only way to restore health is either using magic or healing items (and even if you have a lot of health, enemies will deal a lot of damage). Fortunately, the game will let you choose when to challenge it after you've unlocked the conditions, and you have the ability to have sex with either defeated enemies or Kiri as many times as you want, meaning that you don't have to worry about lust during a fight.
  • That One Sidequest: Finding the Last Inquisitor's Chamber. It requires lots of time exploring the Swamp and lots of luck.
  • True Companions: Your camp companions can become this if you play your cards right.
  • Tsundere: Both Ember and Kiha.
  • Video Game Caring Potential: It's easy to start viewing your camp companions as a family.
  • Video Game Cruelty Potential: Vast potential; there is a special win condition for making the enemy too horny to move. You can choose to have your wicked way with them, or leave them there.
  • Well-Intentioned Extremist: The Harpy Queen's goal was actually for the better of Marith, and in different circumstances, she could've been the Big Good. However, her mistake was kidnapping Hakon.
  • You're Drinking Breast Milk: An actual item in the game. It's from a Succubus, by the way. Also invoked since one of the sex acts in the game is breast feeding; either performed on or by your character.
