Tropedia

  • Before making a single edit, Tropedia EXPECTS our site policy and manual of style to be followed. Failure to do so may result in deletion of contributions and blocks of users who refuse to learn to do so. Our policies can be reviewed here.
  • All images MUST now have proper attribution, those who neglect to assign at least the "fair use" licensing to an image may have it deleted. All new pages should use the preloadable templates feature on the edit page to add the appropriate basic page markup. Pages that don't do this will be subject to deletion, with or without explanation.
  • All new trope pages will be made with the "Trope Workshop" found on the "Troper Tools" menu and worked on until they have at least three examples. The Trope workshop specific templates can then be removed and it will be regarded as a regular trope page after being moved to the Main namespace. THIS SHOULD BE WORKING NOW, REPORT ANY ISSUES TO Janna2000, SelfCloak or RRabbit42. DON'T MAKE PAGES MANUALLY UNLESS A TEMPLATE IS BROKEN, AND REPORT IT THAT IS THE CASE. PAGES WILL BE DELETED OTHERWISE IF THEY ARE MISSING BASIC MARKUP.

It's Capcom, people. Everyone's gonna benefit from pairing up with them, although it's not like Marvel, SNK, Namco Bandai, and Tatsunoko Productions exactly needed the help.

Now it has a crowner!

Street Fighter X Tekken[]

  • The remix of Tekken Tag Tournament's theme, for some of the SF vs. TK rival battles.
  • For this game, Capcom gave priority to the Real Song Theme Tunes, as many songs were featured in trailers:
  • The Antarctica stage theme, a smooth mix of electronic beats and percussion, getting tenser or easier as the battle goes on.
  • The Pandora boss theme for Bison and Juri is a sinister combo of the two character's teams complete with Ominous Latin Chanting. Fitting for the Shadaloo and SIN team-up.
  • The remix of Akuma's theme at the end of a Tekken character's Arcade mode. Probably one of the best, and most metal, versions of his theme yet.
  • How about the Mad Gear Hideout (Round 1) theme (also titled "Abigail Dancing" on the collector's edition CD), a sweet electronic remix of the Bay Area stage theme from Final Fight?
  • The Mishima Estate Round 1 (rooftop) theme is a beautiful mixture of electronic and loud Asian instruments adapted from Heihachi's Tekken 2 theme.
    • Speaking of Mishima Estate, Mishima Estate Round 2 throws us in what seems to be a gentle theme...until it kicks into Heihachi's Tekken 3 arcade theme. Suddenly, that nostalgic metal guitar from his theme kicks in, with mild electronics throw in, all while a sample of "Hey!" ties the theme all together.
  • Urban war zone is quite iconic thanks to the reveals of the Playstation-exclusive characters (Mega Man, Pac-Man, Toro, Kuro, Cole). It's got electric synth sounds mixed in with some sweet guitar playing and it makes you want to say "This is my destiny!".
