Chameleon
The only woman among the genetically modified wrestlers and the only woman among the villains. She is aggrieved and angry early in the movie due to boyfriend Iguana's death, which she wrongly blames on Black Mask who had been present at the time. She generally flakes-out on the bad guys and pursues her personal ambitions of revenge, and eventually betrays the villains when she is set right on what happened to her boyfriend.
Defiant to the End: In her last scene, Chameleon and Thorn are clasping hands following an intense fight as they hang from a support beam on a stadium several stories in the air. Chameleon insists that she will never disappear (due to her power of invisibility going rampant), Thorn pleads with her to hold on, and she angrily swats his hand, causing both of them to fall to their deaths unnecessarily.
Fan Disservice: Chameleon's death scene is portrayed with emotion, but it's also made to be even more titillating than her previous scenes. It contains detailed frontal nudity, and after insisting that she will never disappear, Chameleon even attempts to fall to her death facing upwards, apparently intending to be found that way.
Fiery Redhead: Chameleon is portrayed as hotheaded, generally angry, quick to judgment, and prone to fighting those who make her angry.
Heel Realization: Chameleon eventually accepts following a late-movie confrontation with Black Mask that 1) Black Mask had been trying to save her boyfriend Iguana, whose genetic enhancements were causing out-of-control mental instability and body-morphing, and 2) that her own power of chameleon camouflage is progressing out of her control, and will eventually render her entirely invisible.
Invisible Streaker: Chameleon's body but not her clothes turn invisible (though there is one scene in which her clothes apparently "burn off" the moment she engages her hybrid chameleon form). Chameleon always goes into combat unclothed in order to make use of her effective invisibility. In fact, Chameleon doesn't wear clothes once after the midpoint of the movie.
Irrational Hatred: Chameleon blames Black Mask for the death of her boyfriend Iguana, because she observed that he was present at the moment of Iguana's falling. In reality, Black Mask had tried to talk Iguana down and to rescue him from his fall, and was blamed only because he was on-scene at the time. Chameleon spends most of the movie pursuing the hero with violent intent for an act for which he is blameless.
Ms. Fanservice: Chameleon is the sole source (though a constant source) of fanservice throughout the movie. This applies to both the scenes (generally earlier in the movie) in which she is clothed (always in black, with outfits that expose her midriff, her midriff and her shoulders, or which cover her up but are always form-fitting) as well as those in which she is nude (which accounts for half of her screen time).
Peaceful in Death: After her death, Chameleon is observed with her upper body reappeared and her face bearing a calm expression. It is strongly implied that in averting her anticipated disappearance, she attained her dying wish.
Redemption Equals Death: After Chameleon's late-movie heel-turn, she decides to help Black Mask, though she does this on her own terms. Chameleon confronts Thorn, the most dangerous and powerful of the genetically modified wrestlers, and she chooses to take him and herself out at the same time.
Sensible Heroes, Skimpy Villains
Visible Invisibility: Except for some rare occasions when she entirely gets the drop on, or gives the slip to, her opponent, Chameleon's body is almost always either visible in outline or as a variable transparent figure. It is clear from several scenes that she is at least somewhat-perceptible this way to other characters and not just to the audience. Naturally, this serves Chameleon's fanservice appeal.
