The upcoming Spiritual Successor to Fahrenheit (Indigo Prophecy) and Heavy Rain by Quantic Dream, revealed on E 3 2012. The story, covering the span of fifteen years, will center on Jodi Holmes (modeled after and played by Ellen Page), a young woman who tries to uncover the mystery of a strange Poltergeist-like presence that serves as her protector. The central topic will be what happens to one after death. Like its immediate predecessor, Beyond: Two Souls will be a PlayStation 3 exclusive.

Tropes to be found in the game:
- Bald Women: Jodi sports a buzzcut upon her introduction (rather reminiscent of Kara).
- Actor Allusion: Ellen Page previously had her head shaved on camera for her role in Mouth to Mouth.
- Dashed Plotline: The story is set to cover 15 years of Jodi's life. Unless they are making a very long game, it's gonna be this trope.
- Extraordinarily Empowered Girl: The little released material suggests that while Jodi is not directly empowered herself, she has a powerful supernatural protector, which is just as good.
- Ink Suit Actor: Ellen Page as Jodi.
- Poltergeist: The spirit that Jodi interacts with, who she addresses as "Ivan".
