Anvilicious: When all the ladies charge together in the finale.
Author's Saving Throw: One of Infinity War's biggest complaints was that the large cast wasn't balanced very well. This film, while having a smaller main cast, balances the screetime of the various groups much more evenly.
The Captain Marvel: The Trope Namer will join the Avengers in this movie. This time however, the dislike towards Carol is less about the painfully blunt feminism and more about the fact that she's such a Smug Super.
Character Rerailment: For those who felt Cap was acting too selfishly in Civil War, this film goes a long way in correcting that.
Narm: Thor's gut can kinda take you of the action, despite how serious the stakes are.
Only Scrappy Can Return the Spirits to the Chest: Provides the trope image. As disliked as Captain Marvel is, she's still one of the few heroes powerful enough to actually hurt Thanos, and her presence turns the tides of the battle in the Avengers' favor. That said, she actually does very little.
Voodoo Shark: Carol explaining why she's been absent for some. It's not made clear how Carol never ran across the Asgardians or the Guardians of the Galaxy, who are for the most part space-travelling heroes like herself. Made worse since Carol was part of the Kree and even worked alongside Ronan and Korath, the baddies of the first Guardians film. Then again, the Guardians as a group were, until only recently, outlaws who stuck to the galactic fringes and underworld while the Asgardians are rather isolationist.
