- Better Than Canon: Mainly from the Meg fans, who would love to see this as an official episode, but readers seemed quite receptive to everyone undergoing Character Rerailment to their earlier personas and the high stakes plot.
- Catharsis Factor: Meg finally opening a can of whoop-ass on Connie. To a lesser extent, her calling out her family's abusive treatment of her.
- Character Rerailment: Most of the characters are written in the vein of their pre-Season 4 characterizations. The only exceptions are Connie (who is even worse) and Stewie (who has some of Evil Genius traits from the early seasons but also his Hidden Depths from the later ones).
- Funny Moments: Many. Especially the cut-away gags.
- Heartwarming Moments: Lois' speech, after she lets Meg to catch her.
- Moment of Awesome: Many of them but a high point has to be Meg catching Connie and using her size to get back at her for all the years she spent tormenting her.
- Moral Event Horizon: Connie trying to murder Meg.
- Tear Jerker: Meg's death. Don't worry, she got better.
- They Wasted a Perfectly Good Plot: Even after more than a decade since the fic's completion, audiences are still left waiting for "Attack of the 100 Foot Hayley Smith", which most reviewers seemed quite eager to see.
- Woobie, Destroyer of Worlds: Meg after growing.
